QUACKITY POV -
I sat up quickly, my eyes snapping open as I breathed quickly and shallowly.
I began to panic as I stared frantically around the room, struggling to catch my breath as the nightmare reverberated through my head, making me feel like I was trapped back there again. In that awful place.
I was about to descend into a full blown panic attack when I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder.
I whipped my head around and came face to face with a bleary eyed Sapnap.
"Hey, hey, it's okay Q, I'm here, I've got you, you're safe," He murmured, pulling me into his arms as tears began to roll down my cheeks. He stroked my hair gently, whispering calmingly in my ear, rocking back and forth slowly, holding me in his arms. "You're safe Quackity, I'll never let anyone take you away again,"
He gently kissed my forehead and wiped my tears away as I mumbled a quiet thank you. After a moment I felt someone wrap their arms around me, resting their head on my shoulder. I turned my head slightly and Karl kissed me on the cheek.
"He's right, you're stuck with us," He whispered, making me laugh softly.
"Thanks guys," I breathed kissing them both.
We all laid back down under the covers, arms and legs entangled as the soft pattering of rain became louder outside.
"I can't sleep," I said after ten minutes, making both of them snort with laugher.
"Do you want to go for a drive?" Sapnap asked, sitting up. I nodded eagerly and jumped out of bed, desperate to do something other than lay in bed and try not to let memories intrude in my thoughts.
Karl and Sapnap also climbed out of bed, a lot slower than me and we began to make our way downstairs as quietly as we could even though it was only 8:30. We'd been asleep all day because we hadn't slept the night before, we'd been far too busy playing video games.
When we reached the kitchen we were surprised to see two people sitting there instead of just Karl's mom. Another woman sat across from Karl's mom and they were holding hands. All three of us stopped in our tracks, staring.
"Mom?" Karl asked, his eyes darting between the two. Karl's mom smiled awkwardly like a child that had just been caught stealing cookies.
"Karl, honey this is Zoe, she just moved in next door and we... um... I..." She trailed off, looking at the ground, her face red. Karl grinned and moved forward to hug his mom,
"I'm happy for you," He said, hugging her tighter. His mom thanked him and they pulled apart. She then introduced us to Zoe.
"This is my son Karl and his fiancés Sapnap and Quackity,"
We both shook Zoe's hand smiling warmly. Zoe was super friendly and after a quick conversation she and Karl's mom shooed us out of the door so that they could have dinner in peace. We all laughed as the door closed and we were left out in the rain.
"To the park?" Karl asked, linking arms with both of us,
"To the park," Sapnap and I agreed, giggling as we made our way to the car, getting soaked in the process.

I plugged my phone into the aux cord as Sapnap and Karl jumped out of the car, running towards the small playground a few metres away. I pressed shuffle play on 'Glaive', knowing they both liked his music, before turning the volume up obnoxiously loud and running after the pair. We all sang along to the music in the background as we danced around on the playground, trying not to fall on the slippery equipment.
After twenty or so minutes of loud laughter and loud singing we all gathered infront of the swings, breathing heavily, all of us absolutes soaking wet.
"Dance with me," I said, dragging out the 'e' and making my fiancés giggle. I held out a hand to each of them and they accepted. We began to spin in a very unstable circle, holding onto each other's hands for dear life as we sung along to the music in the background.
"Fuck! I can't hold on!" Sapnap screeched as his hand started to slip away from mine, his palms slick with rain and sweat.
"No! Don't let go!" Karl cried, feigning distress,
"I'll never let go!" Sapnap grinned, trying to grip on again.
"Thats what Rose said," I pointed out and Sapnap burst out laughing, losing focus and losing his grip. He fell backwards, Karl and I ran forward to stop his fall.
We made it just in time but we underestimated our strength when we were both weak from laughing. All three of us toppled onto the ground, unable to breathe from fits of hysterical laughter.
"Holy shit, you two are idiots," I said through waves of laughter, making both of them laugh even harder.
"No we're not!" Karl exclaimed, trying and failing to stand up.
We all lay on the ground for a moment, reaching out and grabbing each other's hands and falling into a comfortable silence.
We lay there for a while, enjoying each other's presence, basking in the love we shared for each other. As I lay on my back, the rain seeping even further into my clothing, my mind drifted to the happy thought of a wedding between Sapnap, Karl and I. A moment that didn't seem so far away at the moment.
I could picture us standing in a flower field, holding hands as our closest friends watched us pledge our love to each other. I felt a sudden excitement at the thought of spending the rest of my life with Karl and Sapnap, being able to call them my husbands.
"We should probably go," Sapnap said, pulling me from my thoughts. I looked up and grinned at the pair of them. The way the street lights lit up their faces and the rain fell onto them gave them both an almost angelic air.
"I love you both so much," I breathed, kissing them both passionately. They grinned at me,
"We love you too," They said simultaneously, each kissing one of my cheeks and making me blush deeply.
I was so glad that I had such amazing people in my life.
I loved them both more than I could ever put into words and no matter what anyone said or did, that would never ever change.
As long as they were by my side, nothing could hurt me, not anymore.
