Summary: post-reception holds up Will and his newly wedded wife Y/n from MCC

(i just used the basic team of will, ranboo, phil and you, though that isn't really all that important)
(also i've only ever been to one wedding, like 8 years ago, so this might not be accurate)

---

You watched as all of your friends and relatives left the reception. This was easily one of the best nights of your life, and you couldn't imagine it in any other way or with anyone else.
The venue was perfect.
The vows were perfect.
The dress was perfect.
The guest list was perfect.
The food was perfect.
The music was perfect.
The emotion was perfect.
And your groom was perfect.

You looked down at the diamond ring that lay on your finger and just smiled.

You two had done it.
You two had officially gotten married.
After being engaged for over 15 months.
After planning for 14 of those months.
You two had finally gotten married.

You thought about the night and all of its little perfections before you felt arms around your waist.
"Hi, darling."

You smiled to yourself at your husband's actions.
"Hello my love," you said as you turned yourself around in his arms, placing your arms on his shoulders. He leaned down and captured your lips in a kiss, much like the one at the altar. You smiled into the kiss, which was easily as passionate as the one after you two said your vows. You both carefully let go of the kiss after a few moments, and you just stood with your arms on his shoulders, his around our waist. You gently played with the longer bits of hair he had, just running your fingers through it as you two just kept eye contact.

It wasn't until you heard a door open, then slam that the moment was broken, and so was your eye contact. You jumped at the large bang of the door. Will just chuckled and pecked your forehead. You just thought it was someone leaving, and you would have resumed the moment if you didn't hear the loud noise of your mother, and Will's parents telling them to quiet down. You looked over towards the door, and just saw his mum taking a picture of the moment you two had, but you knew what your mum was like. You gently let go of Will and watched as your parents just spoke to him like he was some boyfriend in secondary school or college.
You knew how she was, but you had the slightest bit of hope she would make it faster than she did when you first introduced him to her.
Because based off last time, you would just be standing there for an hour, and you only had about 10 minutes to spare before you both had to leave.

- - -

After 30 minutes, you had finally pried your mum from your husband, and you two just ran out the door, though you both found it quite difficult in such formal wear.

You quickly got into the passenger seat and watched as Will got in on the right into the driver's seat. He started the car seconds after you both closed our doors, and you two were off to try and get back to his office in time before the event started.

The only problem was:
you didn't have enough time to go home and change before the event...

- - -

As Will pulled up to the office, you two wasted no time almost jumping out of the car when it stopped. You both just ran into the building, the train of your dress just floating behind you. You both just ran up the stairs and ran into each of your offices when you got to the right floor. You both quickly started up your PCs and got out your laptop for chat. You dmed Phil saying you were at the office just in case, and made sure your camera and mic were working, before opening OBS and starting up your streams.

- - -

Ranboo and Phil sat in their teams VC, Scott and a few Noxcrew admins just waiting for you two to arrive.

Scott couldn't help but worry;
He couldn't get 2 new people that fast, and they couldn't postpone the event for longer than a minute extra in the beginning just in case something else happened. All he could do was hope you two would show up in time for the decision dome at least.

- - -

You both joined the VC in almost perfect unison and loaded up the game. Your teammates and the organisers could tell you both were out of breath but decided not to comment on it, being able to guess what happened. You silently waved to your chat and waited to give a quick intro until the decision dome. You quickly made an attempt to read chat and read a few select messages in your head, before paying attention to your teammates words.

Funnily enough, it was about you:

"Wait Y/n," Phil started. "Are you still in your fucking wedding dress?"

"Reception dress... Buuuuut, I texted David and asked if he could bring some clothes for Will and I to change into at the 5 minute break."

"Is Will in his tux still?!"

You all laughed a little, until Scott and the admins had to leave for the event.

- - -

You watched as your chat blew up about the dress and how anytime the ring came into frame, how they would compliment it.

You looked over as donations came in, either calling you a simp, or just overall being really sweet.

You listened to the mix of your teammates coming up with strategies and the resubs and the messages with them.

And you smiled anytime you saw a small shine from your ring out of the corner of your eye.

-

You knew you would die with this man, and at this point you were ready for it.

Not that you wanted to die, you just knew that if you were to die, you would die happy, knowing you were able to at least get married to the love of your life.

(Post event)

You now sat on Will's lap, in a pair of sweatpants and one of his old t-shirts. You couldn't help but smile into his chest as you cuddled into him. He hummed a small song he had been working on as of recent, and just played with your hair, brushing through it and rubbing it between his fingers.

Though you hadn't won the event, you still felt like a winner.
Maybe it was because you were a newlywed.
Maybe it was because you knew Will loved you.
Or maybe it was just because you two were cuddling.

It might have been the most simplistic ending to your magical day, but you wouldn't have it any other way...
... Maybe with another pint of ice cream, but other than that...
You were as happy as you could ever imagine yourself being.
