(a/n: I just wrote you shorter than you might be; if you aren't short, you can just ignore the end bits, but i just subconsciously wrote you ~ 5'1-5'2 towards the end lmao)

You were currently sitting on your boyfriend's bed while he finished up his christmas eve stream a few doors down. To say that you were a little nervous for this christmas was an understatement. (Since your family didn't do much for christmas, ranboo's parents had offered for you to spend christmas with them a week in advance, and you didn't have anything to lose in the moment). You were terrified from meeting some of your boyfriend's other relatives. Obviously his parents loved you, but what about everyone else? There were his grandparents, his cousins, his aunts and uncles. Sure it was only gonna be some dozen people, but you were still scared out of your mind. You had no clue how they would react to you, hell, if they would even like you! You didn't know whether there was a certain way you should act around certain members of his family, or if they knew anything about you at all. All you knew was that excitement wasn't the obvious emotion at the moment.

Sure, you were a little excited, maybe even a lot. Though you were more nervous and terrified, thus the emotion towered above every scrap of excitement for the holiday season you had.

You were taken out of your thoughts by the sound of the door opening. You looked up and saw your rather tall boyfriend, who just crashed on his bed. Obviously, you two weren't gonna sleep anytime soon, though it was always fun to just fall face first into his bed, considering his blankets were always really soft. (you can't tell me this man doesn't live off of fluffy blankets, and fluffy blankets alone-) 

You chuckled to yourself, trying to make an effort to hide the slight panic and overall anxiousness you had for the upcoming day. I guess you didn't hide your anxiety well enough though, because as soon as Ranboo turned over and sat up upon the bed, you noticed his brows furrow.

"Hey," he said. "you okay?" 

"Yeah, why?" you asked, though you knew exactly what it was about. 

"I don't know. You just look kinda panicked is all." 

You let out a sigh you didn't know you were holding, before continuing like he knew you would.  "Just a little worried about meeting the rest of your family is all. No biggie." You tried to make it seem like such a smaller thing than you felt it was. Though you looked down a little, the slight shame you felt, though you tried to hide it with bringing out your phone. Before you could even put your passcode in, Ranboo gently lifted your head up via your chin.

"Don't worry about them, I'm sure they'll love you almost as much as I do." He gently leaned over and pecked your temple, before bringing you into a short, yet simple hug. As soon as he let go of the embrace, he spoke up in a quiet voice, though you could tell he was excited. "You wanna rewatch Jojo part 6?" 

You nodded you head with a smile, and he brought out his laptop, and you two just continued to cuddle while watching Jojo for the third time that week, before you just fell asleep while laying on top of his stomach, all worries being pushed into the back of your head as anytime the worry would even try and show, you would just nuzzle further into your boyfriends chest, and safeness and comfort was found only moments after again and again.

Obviously you were sticking by your boyfriends side almost all day long, though most of his family members seemed to like you, which took that weight off your shoulders. The only one who really didn't was his little cousin, due to the fact that the height difference was quite more than the average couple, so he thought you were closer to hell like he had heard one of his friends say at school, but other than that, they loved you. Hell, one of his cousins on the other side of his family thought you were a fairy or pixie compared to him, and proceeded to ask you constantly about your powers, so she was excited for the next time she would come up. 

You were internally ecstatic. And maybe just even a little externally as well, though you tried to hide that excitement. Overall, the day was so much better than you had even imagined, or hoped. Every worry you had not even 12 hours before was wrongly proven since they all loved you, and even then, they didn't draw too much attention to you (other than his young naive cousins, though you just played with them for a couple hours before they all left).

You walked, post festivities, into your boyfriends bedroom alongside him, and just watched as he fell face first into the bed. (even though it was only around 10 since his grandparents stayed a little longer to watch a few basic hallmark christmas movies after everyone else had left, but even then, you both were still tired.) You closed the door, and when you looked back over, you noticed he had rolled over to lay on his back. You walked over and just fell directly next to him, then lied between his legs, and just looked up at hi, your head just resting on his chest. You hugged around his waist and you just nuzzled into him. You were exhausted out of your mind. Your worry had tired you out, though it only hit you after you didn't have anything to worry about. You just closed your eyes, and immediately tried to sleep before he even pulled the blankets up over you both. He gently pecked your forhead once he fixed the blanket, and then just played with your hair a little, making sure that you were asleep, before he finally closed his eyes after the long day, and fell asleep.
