Chapter thirty two

CHAPTER THIRTY TWO:

Brooke got the kids all packed up and ready to take them to their father's house. She got herself ready as well so she would only have to do one trip which was to drop the children off at their Dad's and then pick up Caroline and head to the Sky Lounge to meet up with Monica. This would be very interesting and there was only one more week to go until Jake would be back in town.

"Come on kids,let's go!"

The kids and Brooke all piled into the car and off she drove. They arrived at Lauren and Dillon's father's house, she walked them to the front door and rung the door bell. A few seconds later the door opened.

"Hi, how are you?" asked Brooke

"Great! how are you?"

"Not bad at all, I must go I have to be somewhere in half an hour, have fun kids" she gave Lauren and Dillon kisses goodbye "See you in a few days, love you both" Brooke said as she turned to walk back to the car. She drove off and headed to Caroline's place, once she arrived out the front she tooted the car horn, Caroline made an appearance at the front door and called out "I'll be one second" and then went back inside.

Brooke sat and waited in the car and then out came Caroline.

"Hi how's it going?" Caroline asked Brooke

"Yeah good, I just dropped the kids off and now we are all set and ready to see Monica, wait unti you see her"

"I can't wait, are you nervous?" Caroline asked

"Only a little, the first time I was, she seems to be a nice person, but the other day she rung to see if Jake had rung and then questioned me on staying with him and said I should find someone else as she had a longer history with him"

"Oh my god! your joking"

"No! can you believe it" Brooke said while driving towards the Sky Lounge.

"She's got a bit of a hide, considering she already has someone".

They pulled up and parked the car just around the corner from the Sky Lounge, as they walked inside Brooke could not see Monica anywhere.

"I guess she's not here yet, let's get a drink from the bar and then find somewhere to sit", Brooke said to Caroline

"I'll buy the first bottle of wine and you can get the next" Caroline ordered the wine and then they found a table and sat down.

They had only been there for about ten minutes when Monica walked into the place.

"Don't look now, but she's coming over towards us" Brooke said to Caroline as she waved to Monica.

Monica approached the table where the girls were sitting.

"Hi Monica, this is my friend Caroline, Caroline this is Monica"

"Hi nice to meet you" said Caroline

"I might just go and get myself a drink, I'll be back in a minute" Monica walked over to the bar.

"You're right about the resemblence"

"I told you, didn't I, she's comming back over"

Monica came back over to the table with a glass of champagne and sat down at the table.

"So have you heard from Jake at all?" Monica asked.

"Nope,like I said he's not gonna call until he gets back, and if he doesn't I will call him"

"Well I haven't heard from him either, I had to get out of the house Rick is moving today, we are having a break"

"Where's he moving to?" Brooke asked while taking a sip of her wine.
