CHAPTER FOUR:
Brooke had the biggest smile on her face as she walked up to Crystal and Caroline. "You will not believe it, I met a guy on my way to the bathroom, he is sooo good looking!, he also asked me to go for coffee instead of Mitch's house for drinks".
Crystal looked a little disappointed so Brooke said "I will go with you to Mitch's"
"I am going to go home if that's ok " said Caroline "It's soo late and Nathan will be starting to worry"
The group all left the "V Room". Crystal was kind of keen on Mitch as Hank was not making any moves on her, even though there was a lot of flirting going on at work . She didn't know whether it was just his way and that he enjoyed flirting with new staff members especially one who was as attractive as Crystal. So she decided she didn't want to be holding out for someone who may be just waisting her time. She also knew it was very hard to have a relationship with someone who is your boss.
"Look at it this way" said Brooke "If Jake is interested in me, then I will see him again, he has my number, I might just text him and tell him I have to have a rain check on the cofee tonight."
The girls made sure they got Caroline into a taxi "Don't forget to text me when you guys get home just so I know you two are safe" said Caroline
"We will" replied the girls
Caroline was like a big sister to both girls always worried about them when they were out on their own.
"I had a great night and I will call you two during the week" yelled Caroline out the taxi window as the taxi pulled away from the curb.
The next minute Brooke could feel her cellphone vibrate in he hand bag, she got her phone out and there was a text "where are you? I am waiting out the front of your place" it was Jake.
Brooke texted back " I was about to text you, I am so sorry to muck you around like this, but I am going to go with Crystal for drinks, I would really like to catch up with you another time, that's if you are still interested"
His reply to that was "no problems, I have to work tomorrow so its probably a good idea that I go home and get some zzzz's" and that was the end of the texting.
