CHAPTER TEN:
The week went by quickly. Jake had called Brooke on Wednesday, he said he wanted to catch up, but Brooke didn't have any time off from the children until Sunday. But Jake was playing at a popular bar down at Santa Monica Beach in the afternoon, so she asked him to come over on Friday night, but unfortunately he was busy rehearsing until 9.30pm, he said he could come over after that.
Brooke thought about it, she didn't want to introduce Jake to the children just yet, and she knew the children would be in bed by 8.30pm. So she decided it was okay for him to stop in, Brooke also thought she could tell the children, Jake was a friend of hers and Crystal's if they were to wake up and come into the lounge room.
