CHAPTER TWELVE:
That morning Lauren and Dillon came running into Brooke's bedroom to wake her up ,they were all excited about going to the Zoo so they jumped into bed with Brooke and snuggled up to her. "Good morning my little ones" Dillon then got out and ran upstairs to Crystal's bedroom which was like a loft, but a very large room. He bounce onto her bed, Dillon loved Crystal she was always so sweet and kind to him as he was her favourite. She loved Lauren as well but had a soft spot for Dillon.
The next minute down came Dillon and Crystal. Brooke was up making the beds.
"Well it looks like a beautiful day for the Zoo" said Crystal
"It does indeed, we're lucky. Caroline is going to be here in an hour so I guess we better get cracking"
Brooke got breakfast for everyone, they had their showers and got dressed in time for when Caroline was to arrive. Five minutes later Caroline turned up, the kids ran up to her and gave her a big bear hug and kiss hello, they also loved Caroline they had known her all their lives. They called her Aunty Caroline. They all got into the car and off they drove.
An hour later they were at the entrance of the Zoo they got their maps and tickets. When they entered the Zoo and were out of ear shot from the children. Caroline asked "How did it go last night?"
"It went well, he brought wine over and we all just sat around and talked, the night went really fast".
"I think he is really nice" Crystal piped in.
"He is going to meet up with me on Sunday night at Triple 888 when he finishes playing at JC's".
"So you're not going to see him play?"
"No he said he gets too nervous" said Crystal to Caroline
"I thought it was a bit strange, but if he doesn't want me to see him I'm not going to push it" said Brooke. "You should come along with Crystal and I if Nathen is jamming, even if it was for just a couple of hours"
"I'll see" said Caroline.
They all had a fantastic day at the Zoo, they took lots of photo's of the animals and the kids. The kids were exhausted not to mention the girls as well.
"I'm having a quiet night tonight" said Brooke
"How about we grab take away and a DVD to watch?"
"That sounds like a great idea Crystal"
By the time they got home and said goodbye to Caroline it was 6.00pm. Crystal rung up and ordered Chinese to go while Brooke was getting the children organised. They all went to the video store and picked out a couple of movies. The kids got one that they could watch while in bed. They picked up the Chinese and home they went.
Chinese was yummy and the children loved chinese food and gulped it down. After dinner they tidied up and settled in for the night.
