I'm not gonna meet u unless it's in public, I text him, and now I sit here in that stupid, expensive looking café, tapping my foot on the floor nervously and glancing at my phone every few seconds. I hate this situation, and I want to do everything so I never have to be in this situation again. Today is final. But Felix...

Hell, I miss him. And I feel terrible for ignoring him, but it destroys me. All of it. This whole story. I have to clear out my head. I have too much to carry myself, then there's Maddie, too. How does Felix still fit in there? It's just too much.

Blair wears a coat and looks as calm as ever, but his hair isn't as perfect as always. He looks around the café, and I wave at him. He sits down across from me and takes off his coat and scarf.

"Hey, Oscar," he says, almost sounding tired. Then he says to a waiter, "Can I have a coffee, please?" He sits down and brushes his messy hair back with his fingers. I hate it. I hate every movement he makes. I hate this guy with all my heart.

He looks at me and leans slightly forward, his forearms resting on the table. "What made you change your mind?"

"You said you didn't lay a finger on him."

"That's correct."

"So you never had sex?"

He goes quiet for a moment, then says, "We did. But he was still okay back then. Impotence doesn't always happen overnight. And you need to understand, it's not the same kind of sex I have with you."

"I sure hope so. He deserves better." His eyes dart to me like he's trying to read something on my face that he doesn't want to ask out loud. Well, I kind of do the same—trying to figure out if he knows. Then I just say it. "You know that Felix and I made out, right?"

He looks away, and I see his face twitch. "Kinda figured that."

"You know what, you asshole? You have absolutely no right to say anything about that, actually. It's his fucking life, and he said he liked it. So if you're fucking around, he's allowed to do the same."

"Oscar." He takes a deep breath, pausing as the waiter sets down his coffee. "Felix would do anything to please someone. I don't care if you sleep with him, as long as you make sure he's not lying when he says he likes it, which would not be the first time. He's been in a really manipulative relationship with a guy who exploited him like that, and he was just too nice to say no."

"You saying I'm exploiting him?"

"No. I'm saying he's a good actor."

"So you think he's just pretending to like me."

"Okay, hold your horses. You're twisting every word I say. I do know that Felix likes you, there's no doubt about that. Let me just explain this from my point of view. You can't deny that you're a pretty rough person, and Felix usually tells me everything—then suddenly I find out you two kissed?"

"Let's not forget the fact that you hit me."

He pauses for a moment, eyes flicking down before he finally nods. His voice drops, quieter now. "I'm sorry for that. I really am. I lost control, and I hate that I did."

"Do you hit Felix too when you get mad?"

He exhales sharply, like he's trying to pull himself together. "Fair assumption, I guess. No. I don't usually hit people."

"Felix said you were mad at him after we kissed, too."

"I would never hurt Felix, you can rely on that. But yeah, I was mad. Not because you kissed, but because of how I had to find out. I think it's fair to say it felt like cheating."
