Olivia and Rafael take the next steps in their relationship. Through ups and downs, the two's love grows stronger than ever.
It had been a week since Rafael and Olivia had stayed the night together. They had both decided that their first date should be somewhere quiet, but romantic. A nice dinner for the two of them, but Barba wanted to make tonight extra special. So here he is at the Macy's in Herald Square trying to find a dress to give to Olivia. One that was perfect for her. He flipped through the racks looking for the right one when an employee comes over to him
"Hello sir. Can I help you find anything?"
"I'm taking my girlfriend out for our first date and I want to surprise her with a dress for tonight."
"That's really sweet of you. Do you have any idea what you are looking for ?"
"She looks beautiful in anything but she especially loves the colors red and navy blue. I want to find something she will love and love wearing. Something that's as special as she is."
"This woman sounds incredibly lucky to have you. I don't know many men who buy their girlfriend a dress."
Barba goes to explain when the woman says
"They should take note."
Barba smiles sincerely. He didn't realize it, but was blushing at the thought of that. He loved Olivia so much and it was an honor to be her boyfriend. He wants to take time out of his day to find something that will make Liv feel even more beautiful. He knows what she feels comfortable in, but he also wants to find something that she doesn't feel like she has to hide her true beauty in.
"Why don't we get started? Did you have a price range you were looking at because that would affect what dresses we look at?"
"I would never be able to put a price on her happiness, so no price isn't a factor."
The woman smiles.
"Ok great."
The employee takes Rafael over to a rack full of dresses. The two quickly flip through the rack but nothing is screaming Liv to him until.
"That's the one."
The woman pulls out a mid length navy blue dress with a patchwork lace pleated V-neck and 3/4 sleeves. The back has the same flowery patchwork as the sleeves. It's elegant and it's perfect. Barba smiles, picturing Olivia in it.
"She's going to love it."
He quickly checks the tag
"And it's her size."
"Excellent. We'll take it up front and wrap it up for you."
