SVU and Organized Crime interrogate their suspects as new information is discovered.
The next morning, Jet and Ayanna walk into the SVU precinct and are greeted by Amanda.
"Hi ladies. Were you able to get any rest?"
Both Ayanna and Jet shake their heads no.
"I tried, but I couldn't get what happened out of my head." Jet says.
"This is the first time since we got married where I couldn't sleep in the same bed as my wife." Ayanna says,
"I'm so sorry. The first few nights are the hardest. Are you two okay to be here? If not I completely understand."
"Yes, we need to do this." Jet says.
"Those men need to know who they hurt." Ayanna says.
"Fin and Carisi should be bringing the three from the tombs over any minute now. The drug suppliers decided to take a plea deal and Jet, I'll get you and Ayanna set up in another room to transfer the security footage into our system so you don't have to see them until you are ready and they won't know you are cops."
"Thank you." Jet said.
"Do what you do best, Jet." Ayanna says.
Amanda brings Jet and Ayanna into a separate room and hands Jet a laptop.
"All the footage is on this laptop, we just need you to transfer it into a more accessible file."
"I can do that. It might take a few minutes though." Jet responds.
"No worries Jet. I need to go check on the evidence from yesterday and I will come get you two when the men are in the interrogation room."
"Thank you Detective Rolllins." Ayanna says.
Amanda nods and heads out of the room. Jet goes to open the laptop but she knows what she'll see when she does.
"Sergeant, I can do the transfer but I'm not ready to see the footage."
"And that's okay. You don't have to look at the footage if you don't want to. One step at a time."
Jet takes a deep breath and carefully transfers the footage into one file, she makes sure it is encoded properly and that no one would be able to hack into it if they tried. She closes the laptop and sinks into her seat.
"There, it's all set."
"Excellent work, Jet." Ayanna says
"Sergeant, there's over an hour and half of footage. I had no idea we were in there that long."
"Neither did I. We really did survive."
The two women look at each other and slowly smile at each other. They survived and they were going to get through this.
Meanwhile Amanda was trying to get everything ready to interrogate Tony, Max, and Damon. When Fin and Sonny brought them in she really wanted to rip them a new one, but for the sake of Jet, Ayanna, Sadie, and all the other girls she had to find a balance. She had a few tactics up her sleeve that would make the men tell the truth and nothing but the truth by becoming putty in the palm of her hand. A few minutes later Fin and Sonny along with another officer brought the men in.
