Hi friends! We want to thank you for all your love, comments, and support for this fic. I think this chapter is really important to Kalli and I. So many emotions went into this chapter and we definitely poured our hearts into it. We hope you enjoy probably one of the best fics I've ever worked on.
Kalli here- Thank you all for supporting and loving our work, it means the world. This chapter is probably the longest we've written so far. It is full of emotions but we believe it's something important and something beautiful. It tells a story that needs to be told and one that in the end, I hope you find inspiring.

Day two of the People vs Elliot Stabler continues as Sonny, Jet, and Noah testify. Rita starts to realize the mark she wants to make on this case and Olivia finds a new strength within herself thanks to her family being at her side.
The next morning Amanda heads over to Olivia's apartment. She goes to knock but stops when she remembers Elliot did that, albeit louder. But not wanting to possibly trigger Olivia, she instead calls out
"Liv, it's Amanda."
Olivia opens the door.
"Hi Amanda. Thank you for being so patient and considerate."
"Of course."
"We should have a few minutes so why don't you come in?
Amanda walks in and sees Noah sitting on the couch. He looks up at her
"Hi Aunt Amanda!"
"Hi Noah."
Amanda looks to see Noah playing with Eddie the elephant in his lap.
"I see you have Eddie with you huh?"
"Uh huh. So I can remember to be brave like Uncle Rafa today."
"He would be so proud of you."
Amanda looks and sees Noah's outfit.
"And look you've got suspenders on again." She says with a smile
"Do you think Uncle Sonny has some on too?"
"Hm I think so."
Noah smiles wide at his aunt. She ruffles his curls causing the boy to laugh. Olivia walks over to the two.
"Noah honey, is it okay if I talk to your Aunt Amanda for a minute?"
"Uh huh. I'm gonna go see if I can find Eddie a little tie. He needs to look nice for court too."
Noah runs off to his room as the two women chuckle. Amanda turns to Olivia.
"Were you two able to sleep last night?"
"Noah did eventually in my bed but I haven't. I keep worrying he'll somehow come back and when I have been able to sleep, I have nightmares."
"Liv, I am so sorry. I'm sorry you can't get the peace you deserve. But testifying today will help you do that."
