The squad waits for updates on Rafael and Olivia goes through her own trauma before finding out the truth of the situation.
Olivia found herself pacing the hospital waiting room. She didn't have any words to say as she had been asked five million times by her friends for a doctor to check her out.
"Not until Rafael is okay." was always her answer.
"You need to eat something Liv."
'Not until Rafael is okay."
"You need your rest too Liv."
"Not until Rafael is okay."
Ayanna and Amanda stopped Olivia in her tracks and placed comforting hands on her shoulders.
"Olivia, you do need to eat something to keep your strength up. Rafael is going to need your support through this. Carisi, Stabler and Fin will be right here to get any updates from the surgeons." Amanda said as she gave Olivia a hug. Carisi steps forward
"We'll tell you if we hear anything and for what it's worth Liv I'm sorry for what I had to say back there."
"I know Sonny, you and Amanda did what you thought was best and it worked."
Olivia shifts uncomfortably but none of the guys seem to notice. Ayanna does though
"Guys can we have the room?"
"Yeah of course" Fin says as the three guys walk out. Ayanna closes the door and Olivia immediately starts to sob.
"What if I don't get to tell Rafael how I feel about him? If he's even going to want me after this" Olivia said as she sobbed.
"Liv I've seen the way the man has looked at you. Nothing is going to change that." Amanda said
"Amanda, you don't know what happened before you guys came in. Wheatley cut my shirt down the middle and he tried to get Rafael to look and he, he kept staring. He thought my scars were disgusting."
"Captain Benson, if I may. I don't know how you got those scars but I can promise that from everything I've seen today the last man who would think they were disgusting would be Rafael." Ayanna said.
"We are so sorry for what Wheatley tried to do to you and we are here for you." Amanda says. Olivia turns to Amanda and her voice goes soft
"It still feels like his hands are all over my body."
Amanda knows exactly how that feels. It's been ten years since everything happened with Patton and she can still feel his touch. It's like a ghost that haunts you, but it feels so real. She can't say it will go away because it doesn't but she can promise to support her friend through her struggles.
"We don't want to diminish how you feel Liv. But we do know you gotta take care of yourself too." Ayanna said.
"I was angry at Rafael. I said hurtful things to him that I wouldn't have said if I understood what was going on. He saved my life. He risked his life for me and there isn't anything I could do to repay him."
