The showdown with Richard Wheatley begins as Olivia realizes just how dark he is. The squad all comes together to take the man down
Olivia didn't have anything to say to Elliot on their car ride. She was focused on one thing and one thing alone: bringing Barba home. They pulled up the car to the warehouse and all got out of the car guns drawn. Carisi had a Kevlar vest on and was behind Amanda. Olivia turns to the squad
"Guys you don't have to do this." Olivia said
"We're here for Barba too, Liv. He's our friend too. We all owe him this." Fin said
"We have to fix this." Amanda said
"This time we're both going to put Wheatley exactly where he belongs." Carisi growls
"And if that place is in a grave, so be it." Elliot bites out
" We're taking him down together, Olivia." Ayanna said
The squad slowly walks over to the entrance. Amanda and Fin fall back and scope the area for any other men or bodyguards. Olivia calls out
"Richard Wheatley, come out with your hands up!"
"No I don't think I will."
Ayanna tries a different strategy.
"We just want Mr. Barba. Send him out and we'll go."
"Oh now I know you're lying. Captain Benson comes in alone or the lawyer dies. Without the vest and gun. Final offer."
Olivia takes a deep breath and takes off her vest and gun. She could do this for Rafa. Elliot grabs her arm again as she pulls back.
"You don't have to do this." He said.
"You don't understand Elliot and you never will."
Olivia slowly opens the warehouse door.
"Okay. I am unarmed and I'm coming in." She said
Olivia walks into the room and has to hold back a gasp at the sight of a broken, bloody, and tied uo Rafael. Rafael sees Olivia and immediately starts to panic.
"Olivia, go, now." He said weakly.
"No, not without you." She replied as she noticed the massive amount of blood Rafael had lost.
Wheatley's voice booms across the warehouse.
"Olivia Benson. Man you're even more stunning when you're upset."
He lets out a whistle and Rafael whips his head towards him giving him a piercing glare.
"Look at the two love birds. You're both about to die and all you can do is think about each other." Wheatley says. His lips curl into a smirk.
"Unless Rafael has any objections I think we should have some fun before we all get out of here."
He turns to face Rafael and his face darkens. Wheatley mouths "my turn" causing Rafael to nearly jump out of his seat, but of course he can't go anywhere. Wheatley turns towards Olivia and the way he smiles at her sends a chill down her spine
