A verdict is given and a glimmer of light shines through the darkness.
As the recess commenced, Jet stormed into the prosecution waiting room.
"How did it-"
Jet cuts Maureen off by holding up her hand.
"Do me a favor and block the kid's ears."
Maureen takes Noah aside and blocks his ears before Jet turns to the rest of the siblings
"You will have to forgive me but your dad is a fucking asshole who just disgraced all of us without a single thought! He needs to stop getting under my skin and leave us all alone!"
"We know sorry isn't going to be enough for you and everyone else. My siblings and I are ashamed of our father's actions. We are on your side and want justice for you all as well. Unfortunately, Dad thinks we turned on him too." Elizabeth says
Just then, the rest of the team walks into the room.
"Jet, there you are." Ayanna says.
Maureen moves her hands from Noah's ears prompting the little boy to run over to Ayanna and hug her. It surprises her at first but soon she gets down on Noah's level and returns the hug.
"Ms. Ayanna are you all okay?" Noah says
"It was hard for all of us Noah, but I have to say everyone on the team was very brave." Ayanna says.
"I know it was scary because Elliot said a lot of mean things to everyone and that's not nice at all. It's good that you all were brave."
"You were very brave too Noah. I'm proud of you. And I think your mom wants to talk to you." Ayanna said as Noah turned to see his mother.
"Mom." Noah says softly before he gives her a hug
"Noah, I love you so much." Olivia says, neither of them wanting to let go of the other.
"I love you too Mom. You are the bravest person I know."
Noah sees Sonny and Fin and immediately tackles them into a hug. The young boy lets out a small sob.
"It's okay Noah, we're not going anywhere." Sonny says
"We're here for you Noah. We're incredibly proud of you. You mean a lot to us and it's an honor to be your uncles." Fin says.
Noah clings to them both for a moment longer before he looks at Amanda and also gives her a hug
"I'm glad you are okay after everything Aunt Amanda. You are just as brave as my mom and Jet."
"You know Noah, your Uncle Sonny protected me just like your Uncle Rafa protected your mother."
Noah smiles wide at that.
"Amanda, it was the right thing to do, I wasn't going to let him hurt you. But you and I both know you can protect yourself." Sonny says
Amanda gives him a small smile.
"Thank you Sonny."
"You are all very brave and strong. Thank you for being my Aunt and Uncles." Noah said.
