Rafael and Olivia Benson-Barba celebrate Valentine's Day together and talk about an important topic.
Olivia and Rafael Benson-Barba sat the groceries on the kitchen counter. Today was Valentine's Day and there was nothing more special to them than to enjoy quality time with each other.
"Your mom is incredibly for watching Blythe and Noah so we could enjoy tonight." Olivia said as she sorted out the groceries for dinner.
"She is. Besides she loves her grandkids and insists we bring them over as much as we can. Our fourteen-month-old is picking up Spanish now and so is Noah so that's been their new bonding activity." Rafael said.
"We'll talk kids later, right now it's our night so what are we making for dinner."
"Hermosa, you've been so busy and I know we normally divide up the cooking but I'm going to do the cooking and you're gonna look beautiful as always. Besides I'll get started so we can eat at a reasonable time and enjoy the rest of our night. " Rafael said as he kissed her cheek. "Is it alright for me to treat my wife to a nice evening with her husband? The same husband who maybe left a gift upstairs in their bedroom."
"Clever one Rafa. I'll be right back then."
Olivia headed upstairs wondering how her husband was always so full of surprises. Her birthday was just the week before and Rafael had planned a romantic getaway for them. Her husband had the kindest soul and loved to do things for her. She also wondered how Rafael pulled off so many surprises without any hints.
Olivia opened the bedroom door to see a beautiful pink dress and pink heels to match with a card next to it.

You are everything to me. Words can't describe your beauty both inside and out. I love you every single day but today is the day I get to show you how much you mean to me. Dinner is on me tonight. Come downstairs when you're ready.

Olivia smiled at her husband's nice gesture. She had planned to cook dinner tonight but Rafael insisted he wanted to. She walked back down the stairs and watched her husband humming a song as he cooked. Olivia wrapped her arms around Rafael's waist and placed his head on her shoulder.
"I thought we could cook together. We can dress up later. Besides, I know we both love making a show of getting dressed. Olivia said as she ran her fingers over Rafael's suspenders.
"You're right. Besides, you're beautiful and I'm going to enjoy tonight with my valentine." Rafael said.
"I promised you a steak dinner after all. So what better way to do it is at home tonight?" Olivia said.
"You are right and we can take our time and enjoy our night." Rafael said as he turned and gave Olivia a kiss on the lips.
"We're already enjoying our night. Once I put we finish prepping the sides we have some time." Rafael said.
