"Butter beer fountain !" James yelled, his tie loose and hair wild.

The crowd cheered. They rushed to the dance floor and helped themselves to food. Wizards love to party yknow ?

Sirius jumped with the newly weds. He'd remember this as one of the happiest moments in his life. His best buddy, his brother even, finally living his dream.

Lily is busy partying with her bride's maids but James couldn't stray too far so Sirius gets tugged along with the two. Though that's the case, his eyes kept lingering back at Remus, his other half.

The kids seem to take a liking towards the awkwardly tall uncle. They were curiously tracing the "tiger stripes" on his arms and face. A pig-tailed girl had saucers for eyes.

"Did you fight a dragon ? Is that why you have these ? Did you ? Or was it a giant ? Oh no Vampires !"

Remus chuckled, even when he's basically pulled around by 5 different kids who's parents are no where to be seen.

In the midst of dancing and music, Sirius felt the world stop. Tunnel vision to his only one. He can't help the side smile that crept up.

His grip on the flute glass loosened as his eyes watched Remus with the kids fondly.

"Uncle Remus Uncle Remus ! Look I have tiger stripes too !" One of them said with pieces of ham on their arms.

Sirius stifled a laugh when Remus panicked and started cleaning the sauce off. The other always grew redder when he's anxious or flustered.

"Hey Padfoot ! Pads- oh." James followed Sirius' eyes and he sighed knowingly.

"I knew it."

Sirius kept staring. "Knew what ?"

"I knew you loved him before you knew." James nudged his elbow.

He swung his arm around his Best Man.  The duo just stood there, staring off into a certain werewolf.

"How ?" Sirius asked.

James shrugged. "Well, it's the fact that I could change my Lily Proposal Essay to a Remus Proposal Essay and you'd agree on every word. Am I right or am I right ?"

The Black rolled his eyes in mock annoyance. "Fine, fine."

"We're not getting any younger Pads. Go get him and spend as much time as you can." James claps him on the shoulder. "I'll go back to my Lily."

Sirius just knows Potter is giddy, now that he can officially say "My Lily."

Taking in James' words, he slipped in between the drunk witches and found Remus, still being followed around like a mother goose.

"Ehem." He cleared his throat."May I steal your leader for a few minutes ?"

One of the younger kids stuck their tongue out. "No."

Sirius was close to transfiguring them into a bunch of actual ducklings. "Pretty please ?"

"No."

Remus had to cover his lips with the champagne flute or else Sirius would know he's laughing at his misery.

"Quit giggling you baboon, I'm trying to get us to slow dance." Sirius glared at him.

Squatting on the floor, Sirius held out a bag of coins. "If you lot let my boyfriend go, I'll give you money."

Now the kids are listening. One by one they hugged Remus' legs ("You fucking tree." "Shut up Sirius.") and scurried off with the bag.

"You really just gave them enough to pay our rent." Remus held his hand, watching them quarrel over who get how much.

"They were all muggle money." Sirius sauntered off.

Remus sighed, that chaotic evil man. He let himself be taken to the garden part of the party, where everyone's quieter and slower.

Sirius blushed, feeling Remus' hand on his waist. "You're just like how you were in Hogwarts." The werewolf teased. "A blushing, school boy."

"I'd be an idiot if I wasn't blushing."

He laid his head on Remus' left shoulder as they swayed.

"What'd you say if we go next ?"

Remus furrowed his eyebrows. "Wh-what do you mean next ?"

Sirius lifted his head. "Let me rephrase that. What'd you say if I put a ring on your fourth finger ?"

Remus' jaw dropped. The dancers around them must've heard what Sirius said because they started shuffling to the other side to give them a little space. Some even whispering excitedly to their friends.

Remus blinked a few times, stuttered out something. He couldn't think. Mind blank only the words "Ring on finger" circling in it.

"You serious ?" He managed to say.

Sirius had a childish grin. "You want me to answer that ?"

Remus clicked his tongue and ruffled his ebony hair, annoyed. "I forgot I'm dating a child."

"Yeah and this child wants you to marry him. C'mon now don't leave me hangin'."

Their hands still together. Their eyes studied each other's faces like painters to their muse.

"Yes. Yes. Fuck yes, let's do it."

Sirius jumped into Remus' arms. The brightest laughter the world has ever heard coming out of the two. They twirled around in their spot for a moment before stopping.

Sirius' arms around Remus' neck as he smiled, small and genuine. But they soon turned into surprise  he feels the first drops of rain wet his suit.

Then it poured. Clouds and thunder came out of nowhere. The guests squealed, rushing under the canopy.

Not Remus and Sirius.

They just laughed, all toothy and boyish. Sirius' perfect hair is now wet to the roots. Remus shivered from the cold but  his hand's still on Sirius' waist.

"Practice for our first dance ?"

Sirius didn't care. His designer boots soaked. His chest is probably see through by now. Yet, he nods with eyes filled with the most love. So much love. Feeling so much for this man.

"I can't believe you're finally going to be my only one forever."  Remus whispered above the rain fall.

"When I saw you stuffing your face with chocolate in the train, you already made me your only one."

Icy, bluing lips met another. Remus' wide palms held Sirius' face so gently. Like he was about to break into million pieces. Sirius' hold around his wrists, the only thing grounding him to reality.

"I love you so much, even gods can't compare."
