19. eleven years old

"Hey im sirius" the young boy greeted children his age. They nervously waved at him back. He walked confidently as his mother walked by his side, smiling proudly. After all they were members of the most ancient and noble house of black, perfect rich, pure blooded, beautiful ladies, handsome gents and are ver high class.

Sirius pulled his trunk  with his cat in his other hand. He kissed his mother good bye and hopped on the the train.
"Hello is this seat taken ?" He asked hopefully. "Sorry its taken"
He knocked on 3-4 more compartments and they are all full,he sighed and kept looking. Alas he found one and sat down. Sirius opened his snacks and ate filling his hungry stomach and occasionally gave some to his black cat, snuffles.

Then he heard a knock and a slide of the compartment door. There stood a scruffy haired boy with glasses and a wide grin on his face. "HI I AM JAMES ! I WANT TO SIT HERE" he bellowed, pointing to a seat infront of sirius "is that seat taken ?"
"Nah go ahead" sirius smiled happily.
"So whats your name ?"
"Oh im sirius, sirius orion, sirius orion black"
"Wow the black family aye must be fun anyways what house do you want to be in ?"
"My whole house is basically in slytherin but i want to be different, let me tell you james but i dont like how my family sees halfbloods as worse than purebloods, we are all the same in my eyes and i think everyone can be friends" sirius beamed
"YEA i like you already. I think ill be in gryffindor and i want to be chaser in quidditch"
"Oh i lovee quidditch too here take some snacks i brought them to share"

They ate peacefully knowing they each found an ally in the strange new world of hogwarts. Then the door slide open and there stood 2 boys. One short and a little chubby then the other one tall, dark circles under his eyes amd a tired looking but handsome. That is in sirius' eyes.

"Hey s-sorry t-to bother you b-but is this seat t-taken too ?" The tall boy stammered quietly. Wow really shy guy thought sirius. The shorter boy squeaked "hi im peter"
"No its empty go ahead sit" james said making space between the mountains of snacks.
They sat and introduced himself.
"H-hi im remus, remus lupin" he stammered clearly rehearsed lines that his parents mightve taught him.
Sirius was confused with the scars under his sleeves and across the bridge of his nose. But being the SMART and SENSIBLE person he is,he didnt mention it and so did james.

The four of them got to know each other and maybe james talked about this red haired girl once or twice then peter would go hungry and rummaged his bag for more snacks. But what interests sirius the most is his cat took comfort straight away on remus' lap while remus himself scratched snuffles' ear. The cat looked at sirius and gave him a mock look. Sirius glared at his cat and was returned with a low hiss

Sirius felt as if the cat said that it won over remus before sirius could. Sirius shot daggers to the cat and signaling that remus is his and so his cat to shuffle off. "Umm s-sirius why are you looking at the cat l-like that ?" Remus asked
"Oh nothing hes my cat anyways and i think he hates me so i shall return the mutual hate" he said the word while shooting a glare at his cat.
"O really sorry your cat just came over. I like your cat hes cute" remus said picking snuffles up. The cat looked back at sirius and glared back at sirius.

Those thoughts ran through remus' head when later in their dorms he saw sirius fight with his cat. Couple style.

"I told you that these canned food is 50% filled with chicken you lot like chicken so eat"
Mrow mrowww
"But its cheap and you should just eat what ever i give you"
Hisss mawww
The cat looked at remus and then back at sirius
"Dont look at him for help. And let me straighten some things with you." Sirius leaned in the cats ear and whispered something
Mroowww hiss
"Yes i call dibs, tall R is mine and you can suck it"
Hiss
And remus just silently chuckling at the scene he, james and peter were watching.
