When Remus graduated Hogwarts, he thought "This is it, I'll lose them." But he didn't.

The war wasn't getting any prettier, James decided he needed, he must, marry Lily before it's too late. The red haired girl thought the same.

When they attended their ceremony and Lily dipped James for their first kiss, Remus may have cried a little.

They invited him to their wedding ! Even dragged him for a full team photo. He hadn't lost them, they love Remus as much as he cares about them.

Then there was a certain Black who've captured his heart. As James and Lily  flew off to their honeymoon, he glanced at the man.

Their hands together and he wonders how long he'll get to be happy. How long will it be till Sirius gets tired of him and his Lycanthropy ? How long will it take for Sirius to see that he could find a better boyfriend ?

The answer was never. All those second guessing thoughts dissipated with Sirius on one knee, ring box in his hand.

That night, as he held Sirius in his arms, he has it all.

And that thought never leaves his mind for as long as he's with Sirius Black.

He wakes up everyday with black hair in his lips. The other acting as a weighted blanket on him.

Remus stared although he was still half lidded with sleep pulling him back unconscious. He watched as the small rays of orange sun colored Sirius' skin.

He hugged him tighter and he whispers to himself. "I do have it all."

Months turn into years, it was a whole routine. Remus wakes up, push each other around to the bathroom, eat breakfast, hear Sirius sing in the shower. He couldn't ask for more.

One weekend, James dropped baby Harry off at uncle Sirius' house before their date. Remus finds himself affirming it again and again.

"Sirius, here I got you hot choco...late." He stops in his tracks.

Sirius, with the baby deer in his arms, asleep by the fireplace. Remus couldn't tell if his cheeks warmed because of the hearth or because of the sight.

He sets the mugs down and takes a blanket. The couch isn't the most comfortable but it's another hour till James picks Harry up so it won't take too long.

Sirius' light snores accompanied Harry's own soft breathing. Remus quietly took a picture on his polaroid. He wonders if this will be his future too. He wonders if he'll even  make it that far.

That's Remus for you. Always doubting, always thinking he'll not live to see another happy day. But he's wrong.

He does have it all. He is loved. He deserves to be loved. He and his illness and his quirks and his dumb dad jokes. He is to be loved.

A few years into their marriage, they adopted Teddy. A bright metamorphmagus  who loved tailing Remus wherever he went.

"Papa will I be smart like you ?"

Remus looked away from his book at the wide eyes boy. His little hands struggling to hold the animal encyclopedia up, a book he insisted to read. Even if he didn't know how to read.

"You are smart Teddy. You don't need to be smart like me, you're smart like you." He smiled. "You know how to add big numbers now."

With that Teddy nodded eagerly, showing his fingers. "I know what 20 plus 76 is !"

Remus ruffled his hair fondly. All those years of self doubt, gone. He proved to himself that he was capable of love, both receiving and giving it.

The werewolf tucks his son to sleep that night feeling content. From the door frame, Sirius watched the scene unfurl.

Remus comes to him after, pressing a kiss on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around Sirius' waist.

"He really looks up to you." Sirius whispered,  palm caressing Remus' cheek. "He could've picked any color for his hair and eyes but guess what he does."

Teddy's hair was that shade of brown, exactly like Remus'. Down to his freckles and his eye color. Sirius was right.

They stayed glued as they walked to bed. When Remus welcomes Sirius in his chest again, he kissed his forehead. This time out of love and not of fear of losing him.

"I have you." He affirmed.

Sirius kisses his neck. "Alway have, alway will."

The next morning, Sirius took Teddy to their backyard to teach him quidditch. The kid was quick to master the broom, as nimble and light on his toes as his father.

Remus woke up much later. He yawned while brewing coffee but a chuckle replaced it quickly when Sirius taught Teddy another broom trick.

The warmth in his hands were no match to the fuzzy fire burning in his chest.

His life is getting together. It was difficult, yes, but moments like this makes it worth it.

He deserves this happy day. He deserves to feel love's fireworks going off in his heart. He deserves to grin and crack another joke for Teddy and Sirius to groan at.

Remus hasn't lost them. In fact, Remus has it all and just like what Sirius said, he will continue to have and receive more.
