71. wedding day

"so whats the occasion siri?" remus asked his date.

sirius just smiled serenely and laced his fingers in between remus'.

they were walking inside a museum with paintings from the renaissance era.

at some point of their date today in the museum, remus had almost knocked down a priceless vas, sirius had photo shoots with various statues and remus kissed an angel statue on the lips. while sirius laughed and took his polaroid.

remus loves going on dates with sirius. 'going on dates' doesnt always mean going out  for a fancy dinner or somewhere, sometimes they just stayed home and watched movies.

its the quality that matters.

"i want to ask you something" sirius said they walked through the painting to the statues zone.

"and that question is?" remus asked curious

suddenly sirius knelt down infront of a statue of a woman. the woman was Aphrodite

"do you want to be my husband?" sirius asked to remus.

remus blushed and smiled so wide. "youre such a sap ! proposing to me in a musem ? really sirius?"

sirius rolled his eyes and groaned playfully. "yes now answer my question. my knees are gonna buckle"

"Yes ! i will marry you" remus said quietly. he pulled sirius up.

"why did you whisper? i thought youre gonna scream it for the whole world to hear. " sirius asked. he remembered the time when he asked remus to be his boyfriend, and the taller boy screeched.

"because youre my  world love" remus smirked.

his arms circled sirius pulling their bodies closer. sirius had his palms on remus' chest, his fingers playing with the strings on remus' yellow oversized sweater.

"i love you" sirius said looking up at remus.

the tall boy leaned down to sirius and kissed his soon to be husband.

^something like that

how romantic, remus thought. falling in love all over again infront the statue of the goddess of love ? its like a dream come true.

3 days later.

"you do realize we have to plan a wedding right?" remus asked sirius.

they were cozy at home. sirius had his head on remus' chest and a blanket over them.

watching random movies with the lights down low. sirius nodded and hummed.

"alright then i'll handle the venue and food, you handle our outfits and little details" sirius said. "youre good with details." he added softly.

remus smiled down at his sirius but his eyes stared lovingly at the golden ring on his finger. the ring was glowing under the sunset light that was seeping through the windows.

"tomorrow then we should go browse places and what not"

"no that shit is nasty" sirius scrunched his nose in disapproval.

the place had been chosen and he was arranging the decorations. the man was showing a few colours for the theme.

at last the man showed the colours of soft pink and grey. remus came over to sirius who was judging the colours closely.

the date of the wedding is getting closer and the couple was hurriedly getting ready.

lily helped order the cake and food. remus already picked out his suit.
