I stayed by his side the whole night, holding onto his hand tightly. My eyes stung from all the tears. My body, tired, weak, begging for rest. But I couldn't sleep, not when I didn't know if he'd be okay. I'm not letting him go. He's going to wake up. He will wake up.

I darted my head to the door as it flew open. Jean rushed inside with a bag. "Jean", I said with a smile. "How is he? Is he okay?", Jean said as he kneeled beside me. Tears welled in my eyes, "I don't know", I said as my voice cracked. Jean quickly pulled my into a hug, we sat there together, holding each other as he tried to comfort me. Tears streaming down my face.

"He's going to be fine, he's Levi Ackerman, come on", Jean said as he held my shoulders. "Right", I said with a pained smile. "I brought a bunch of meds, my sisters a nurse so I got the good stuff", he said as he went through his bag. "I also brought an IV setup", he said as he laid items out on the coffee table.

"You know how to do an IV?", I asked as I rubbed my eyes to free the tears. "Yeah, my sister taught me, it's a hidden talent of mine", he said as he looked over to me, I let out a pained laugh. "He's going to need water, he's probably dehydrated, I've got some saline bags here", he said as he quickly unpacked the items he needed.

I had a smile on my face as I watched him unwrap the IV set up. "Thank you so much Jean", I said, my voice shaky. "Someone's gotta come save the day", he said as he turned back to me for just a second.

"Alright, I need absolute silence", he said as he pointed the needle into Levi's arm. He quickly pierced the skin and taped the needle onto Levi's arm. "Easy", he said as he took a deep breath. He attached the tube from the needle into a bag. "Alright this should help", he said as he sat back down beside me.

I leaned into him as we sat there together. His arm around me as he attempted to comfort me.

"He's going to be fine, don't you worry", Jean said as he rested his head on mine. "When was the last time you slept? Had water?", Jean asked as he held my shoulders.

"I'm not... sure", I said with a sniffle. "I'll keep an eye on him, you go shower and get some rest, okay?", he said. "No, I'm not going anywhere till I know he's okay", I said sternly. "Salem", Jean said in a deep tone, "You need to take care of yourself too". "Jean I'm not leaving his side", I said as I glared at him.

"He's not going anywhere, now go take care of yourself, I'll stay with him", Jean said. I was breathing heavy, I bit the inside of my cheek.

"Fine", I sighed heavily. I kneeled beside Levi. "I love you so much, keep fighting for me, okay", I said under my breath as I kissed his forehead.

"Here's some clothes", Jean said as he handed me a bag, "Thank you", I said with a half smile. He nodded.

I went up the large marble staircase and wandered the halls. I finally found a bathroom. I slipped off the blood soaked dress from the night before.

My face looked hollow. My eyes low, the dark circles under my eyes deep and purple. There were bruises on my neck and wrists.

The hot water felt amazing on my body. I let the water hit my face relentlessly, my eyes shut. Wow, this felt good. I washed my body, dragging the soap bar over all the scars Eren had left on me. I held the large scar on my stomach and tears started to fall down my face. Why did you do this to me?

I loved Eren, I loved him so much. To think that someone I loved so much, would do things like this to me... to the people I care about. It hurt, a lot.

I left the shower and slipped on the sweatpants, shirt, and hoodie Jean had brought me. I threw my brown hair into a messy bun and basically ran down the stairs.
