Clark's pov 👙

                    Louisville (7pm)

I released a deep sigh and adjusted on my chair, when I felt myself dosing off.

I ran my fingers through my hair, pushing away some fallen strands of hair from my face.

It's been fourteen hours now, Adele still haven't woken up...

Although, I know the doctor said she'll wake up in seventeen hours.. I just can't wait.

What's gonna be her reaction when she wakes up and sees me here?

Will she hate me now?

I don't know what's going on with me, but just thinking about her hating me is making me feel sad and heartbroken..

Is this what people call falling in love? Have I fallen for her? Since when?

That's not possible, she almost killed me by tying my d**k. I shook that thought of loving her off my mind.

I'm just feeling guilty because I almost got her killed, my guilt is making me feel like I love her.. this ain't love.

My eyes landed on her face, I took a closer look at her and studied her facial features closely... she's kinda cute.

But not as cute as Jas, that girl is a whole set of investment.. wait, that's my friend's beloved.

Why was I even comparing both of them? I better stick with my slender Adele...

Just then, her finger resting on her side moved.. I stared at it again to confirm if it's not just my imagination.

Truly, it's not my imagination, it moved again.. just when I was about to press the red button for a doctor or nurse..her eyes snapped opened.

"Y-you.. you're awake!" I said in a short stutter.

She squinted her eyes, I think to adjust to the bright lights in the room.. after a few seconds, she adjusted to the brightness.

"Adele, you're awake" I repeated my words again.. with a smile on my face.

She gave me a strange look, like she doesn't know who I am.

"Who are you?" She asked in a quiet voice.

My brows drew together in a tight knit, I'm feeling confused.. don't tell me she's having an amnesia now.

"Who are you? Where am I?" She asked again.

"I'm Clark Evans...You don't remember me?"

She shook her head, she sat up with a groan as she held her head.. I supported her and helped her rest her back on the small headboard.

"Who am I?" She asked.

What? She forgot her name too?

Her eyes did a quick scan of the ward, she looked down at the clothes she's wearing...she frowned when she realized she's wearing a hospital gown.

"Why am I in a hospital?"

"Ah.. you.. we..."

I stopped and cleared my throat, because I suddenly felt like there's a lump hanging in my throat.

"We.. were.. we had an accident and we..."

"Accident?" She interrupted me and I nodded. "Where were we going? And who was driving?"

"I was the one driving.. and we crashed because I was over speeding, so..."

I gestured to her head, she felt it with her hand and nodded.. she threw her head back gently and shut her eyes.
