Writer's pov 👙

Thanatos sighed and adjusted on his chair for the hundredth time today...he passed Clark a glare.

Clark doesn't seem to mind his glare, he continued talking.

"...and that's how I left her in the hotel room, sh*t, she was so clingy..do you know how annoying that was?"

Thanatos cleared his throat.

"Clark!"

Clark stopped talking and stared at Thanatos, from the shape of his mouth..you can tell he's still ready to talk more.

He's just waiting for Thanatos to finish his words, so he (Clark) can continue.

"Aren't you tired?"

Clark shook his head and wanted to continue, but Thanatos spoke before he could.

"Jasmine's restaurant created a new dish today, I was supposed to taste it..but I'm pretty tired now, can you help me with it?" Thanatos asked him.

He banged on the table with a wide grin.

"That's an offer I would never say no to, where's the dish?" He asked and look around as if he's gonna find it in the office.

Thanatos smirked, he knew this would work...he just wanted something that would shut Clark up.

"I can ask Elvis to bring it in and..."

"No, I'll locate the kitchen myself" he said and got up..then rushed outside.

Thanatos laughed, he didn't bother to stop him since he wanted him gone...also, Elvis knows him.

"Phew! Finally, time for work. But before then, let's send my baby a hello" he said.

He reached for his phone and sent Jasmine a quick message..he had collected her number from Adele earlier this morning.

*Hi, baby, how are you feeling? I hope you're getting better now? I'll be home early today..stay safe. xoxoxo!*

He smiled and kissed his phone, before he started working.

Adele's pov 👙

I groaned as the customers are giving their unending orders, my hand is hurting from writing so much already.

"... lastly, we'd like rice pudding and three sausage rolls" she said.

"And a vanilla flavored ice cream, please" one of her kids added.

"Alright, I'll be right back" I told them with a forced smile.

I shoved my pen back in my pocket and left to get their orders...I headed towards the kitchen.

On the way, I saw Elvis carrying a tray of food and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Ah... you're serving? Where are all the waitresses?" I asked.
