Adele's pov 👙

            Las Vegas...

"Momma, my momma, my momma" Davis cried.

Since we (Clark and I) brought him home from school, he's been crying for his momma...

And he refused to keep quiet, no matter what we do to make him stop crying.

A tired and frustrated groan left my mouth, I shut my eyes and puffed out some air.

"Come on, Davis... stop crying ok?" I said.

He shook his head in disagreement and continued crying.. louder than before.

"I want my momma, my momma, I want my momma!"

My eyes scanned the table, we've made different kinds of dishes.. I even made an home-made pizza for him.. that's his favorite.

But he had refused to eat anything, crying is all he's been doing.. since he found out his momma isn't around.

"Where is my momma? I want my momma"

I carried him and walked towards the living room, I sat him on a sofa and turned on the TV.

Luckily, his favorite cartoon is showing...

"Davis, look, it's PJ masks!" I said with so much enthusiasm.

He simply glanced at the TV and looked away, his eyes fixed on the door..as if he's expecting his momma to just show up.

If only he knew his momma went to save his daddy... and won't be coming back today.

"It's alright, Davis. Stop crying and I'll take you to the park, wanna have fun with other kids?"

"No! I want my momma!"

His whole face has turned red from all the crying, his little handsome face is now a tears mess.

"I want my momma!" He cried louder.

His voice is so loud, that I'm scared the neighbors might call the cops and complain about it.

Oh my God! How am I gonna make him stop crying now?

"Davis, please stop crying or I'll burst into tears too" I said.

Honestly, I'm at the verge of bursting Into tears now. Davis is really frustrating me right now.. seriously, Jas is really trying.

I don't think I'm gonna have a baby anytime soon!

Just then, the door burst open and Clark jumped in...He's dressed up in a monkey king costume.

My brows knit together in a small frown. Where did he get this costume from? Maybe he ordered it.

"Davis, look... it's the monkey king!" I said.

This seems to do the trick, he stopped crying instantly and stared at Clark weirdly.

He must be wondering how Clark turned into a monkey, he pointed at Clark.

"Aunt Adele, big monkey" he said.

I nodded quickly.

"Yes, yes, that's a very big monkey" I replied.

He stared at it again and began giggling, this face brightened up.

I stared at him in amusement, kids are just a different kind of human beings.

Wasn't he just crying a few seconds ago? Now he's laughing as if he wasn't just trying to bring down the whole building.
