Writer's pov 👙
Mexico city (07:12pm)
Reinle's resident...
Donald walked into the living room, with his shoulders slumped down.. there's a pained expression on his face.
"Donald..."
Margret (his wife) couldn't complete her words... she caught a whiff of alcohol when he leaned on her shoulder.
"Margret.. I.. I..." He stuttered drunkenly.
Margret frowned and glared at him.
"How much did you drink? And why did you drink so much?" She berated him for taking alcohol.
He released a chuckle, but doesn't say anything. She tried to help him to a sofa, but she couldn't.
"What are you? 20?"
"20?"
"Yes... Only 20 years olds get drunk when they have something bothering them" she bellowed.
Donald simply laughed and nodded, making Margret's glare increased.
"Tim! Tim!" Margret called on her son.
Tim's voice was heard faintly from his room. "Coming!"
Seconds later, Tim approached them. He frowned when he saw the state his father is, he quickly pulled his father weight from his mother.
"Mom, what happened?" He asked.
"Your father is drunk, help him to our room" she replied.
Tim nodded and helped him to the room, though it was a little bit hard.
He laid him on the bed and breathe heavily, he glared at his father as he laughed.
"Why did you drink so much? Do you think you're still 20?" He asked.
Margret took off Donald's shoes and threw them in a corner, she also removed his necktie.
"I.. I.. made a big.. a very big mistake" Donald hiccupped.
Margret paused to listen to him, even Tim seemed interested in what he just said.
"My daughter.. Jas.. Jasmine has the heir"
Margret frowned, she exchange looks with Tim.
"Dad, what do you mean?"
Donald sat up, he looked at Tim.
"Your sister... Jasmine, she.. she has the heir" he repeated.
He fell back on the bed and slept off. Tim frowned as he processed his father's words.
He replayed it in his head, over and over again.. he doesn't want to believe what he just heard.
"Jasmine has the heir? How?"
Margret sighed.
"Your father is too stubborn, I told him he'd regret his decision.. but he didn't listen"
"Mom.. maybe we should beg Jasmine, our company's safety lies in her hands now" Tim said.
Margret narrowed her eyes at his comment.
"You're still thinking about the company? Don't you know what's going on now?"
Tim tilted his head, trying to figure out what his mother mean.. but nothing came to his mind.
