Celeste had changed over the summer, more so her body than she herself. The girl had grown into her figure, which had become more defined and obvious to everyone. Narcissa had to purchase all new robes and such for the girl, since she had grown so much more than she and her aunt had expected. It was obvious that Celeste was growing into a beautiful woman, and to the boys on the train, she was quite "busty, and fit" as well. Some people had a hard time looking away from the fifth year, but she paid no mind to them, since she was use to having eyes on her often.
"Come, Draco. It's time to board the train." Celeste said, placing a delicate hand on Draco's upper arm.
Narcissa kissed both children's heads, and Lucius sent the two a look, before Celeste lead Draco on to the train.
"Would you like to sit in my compartment, or are you making your own friends?" Celeste asked, causing the young boy to sigh.
"I will make my own friends, Celeste, but if not, I'm coming to you." Draco said, and Celeste nodded once.
"Good luck, Draco. Find me once you are sorted. I will be the loudest at the Slytherin table of course." She commented, kissing the top of Draco's head.
Draco blushed slightly, watching a couple first years walking passed them and watching the two. He looked up at his cousin and smiled, leaning up to kiss her cheek, before he ran off to find his own friends. Celeste smiled to herself, as she walked towards the compartment she and her friends occupied often. When Celeste walked inside, she seen her friends already talking animatedly between each other.
"Hey, Celeste! How was your summer?" Gretchen beamed, as she spotted her best friend.
Gretchen Avery had been Celeste's best friend since they first met on the train in first year. Gretchen wasn't like the rest of the Avery family, but she still somewhat believed in blood supremacy. Gretchen was the only friend that Celeste ever invited to the Malfoy Manor on holidays, even though Celeste had plenty of other friends.
"Summer wasn't terrible. Aunt Cissa and I went shopping a few times. Draco kept trying to get me to teach him quidditch. Obviously, I ended up teaching him a few tips and tricks, but Uncle Lucius forbid me from teaching him much else." Celeste said, as she flicked her dark hair over her shoulder.
"Where is little Draco?" Regina Yaxley asked, looking over at her friend.
Regina Yaxley was another pure blood Slytherin, but she was a fourth year. Celeste and Gretchen had taken Regina under their wing, after Regina had been sorted into Slytherin. Regina was one of only a few girl Slytherins that came in that year.
"He's making his own friends, of course. He doesn't want to be the youngest member of our friend group." Mattheo Riddle commented, causing Celeste to roll her eyes.
Mattheo Riddle was the fourth member of the friend group. He was outspoken and sometimes rather rude. He didn't have a filter, but he was use to being able to speak his mind without question. Mattheo was a cousin of Draco and Celeste, but even though his parents were away, Mattheo still lived away from the cousins.
"Matt, we both know Draco will have more friends than you ever did." Celeste retorted, causing the boy to scoff, as the girls laughed.
"We should go change. The train should be arriving soon." Regina said, and the other two girls nodded.
Celeste followed Regina and Gretchen out of the compartment to change, after she sent another playful scowl towards Mattheo. As Celeste walked with her friends, she stopped when she heard her name being called. Turning around, she seen Mattheo sticking his head out of their compartment and giving her the finger. Rolling her eyes, she flipped him the finger as well, before turning back around to follow her friends, only to run into someone.
Oliver Wood had been heading back towards his compartment, after going to find one of his quidditch players. He had seen the exchange between Mattheo and Celeste, which made his eyebrows furrow. His eyes widened when Celeste turned around and ran right into his chest. Before she could fall, he placed his hands on her hips to catch her. He stared at her for a moment, mesmerized by how his hands felt rested on her hips. He could tell she had changed over the summer holiday, and he couldn't deny that it made him more infatuated with the girl.
Oliver had always believed Celeste was beautiful. He loved her blue-gray eyes, her long, dark, curly hair, and how well spoken the girl was. The girl had caught his attention on the first day of their first year, but he didn't have enough courage to talk to her. When she was sorted into Slytherin, he was a bit disheartened, but her house never made his crush go away. Over the years, he seemed to fall for her even more, especially when he seen she was on the quidditch team for Slytherin in second year. She was perfect in his eyes, and her summer change had made him almost drool over the girl.
"Wood." She said, breaking him from his thoughts.
"Black." He replied, smiling slightly.
Celeste had often went by Malfoy, but some of the other students still used her original last name. Nobody knew she was the daughter of Sirius Black, but they knew she was a part of the Black family, meaning they knew she was a pure blood like her cousin, aunt, and uncles.
"Watch yourself, Wood. Wouldn't want your Gryffindor team to see you drooling over the Slytherin chaser." Celeste commented, causing Oliver to smirk.
"Can't help myself, when Slytherin's chaser is just so beautiful." Oliver replied, making Celeste roll her eyes.
"Go back to your team, Wood." She retorted, walking away from Oliver.
"You wound me, my star." He murmured, as he watched her walk away.
It was quite obvious to some that Oliver was in love with Celeste, but others either chose to ignore it or didn't see it. Celeste was one of the many people who chose not to believe it, and she believed he was trying to use her to get their quidditch plays. She refused to play into the game Oliver Wood was trying to play...
