The world now knew that You-Know-Who was back. Celeste could see that the world was scared, and she didn't blame them. She was scared as well, but the way she could fix that was by standing up against the Death Eaters and making sure they never get too high up on the food chain.
Celeste had slowly gotten past what had happened at the Ministry. She was still hurting, but she no longer dreamed of what she had seen. The first week, she had woken up from nightmares of that day. Oliver was always there to help her, and was there to hold her as she cried. It was rough, but he understood.
Harry had ignored Celeste for a while, since she had reached out to him the day Sirius was killed. He was mad at her, and he had blamed her for a few days, but he eventually came to terms with everything and understood that Celeste wasn't at fault for Sirius's death. He also had to understand that Celeste didn't reach out because she was upset.
Celeste may not have loved Sirius, but seeing him die had hurt, and Harry had to understand that. Everything was slowly getting worse in the wizarding world, so Harry needed to be as close to his living family as possible. Even if he wasn't very happy, he had to learn to deal with it.
Celeste worked in her shop a lot more to try and keep her mind off of what the world was doing. She was definitely trying to keep her cool, and that was only doable if she was working or with Oliver. If she was alone, she became a bit emotional and upset.
She knew soon things were going to get worse. Soon she wouldn't be able to work if the Death Eaters tried to take her. She knew Lucius wanted his revenge for her besting him, and she wouldn't be surprised if grabbing her and forcing her into being a Death Eater wasn't in his mind.
To be honest, Celeste wouldn't be surprised if something happened to her to get back at the Order. She would freak out if something happened to Oliver to try and get back at her. She would kill every Death Eater in the world to protect the love of her life. He was all she had, and she couldn't lose him.
After Sirius's death, Lupin became more closed off. He was doing as much for the Order as he could. He didn't want to lose his chance of hurting the dark wizards like they had hurt him. He knew he was hurting his family by leaving so often, but he couldn't let them get away with Sirius's murder.
Bellatrix Lestrage deserved death, at least in Lupin and Harry's eyes. Celeste wanted to get revenge as well, but she knew Bellatrix was strong. She remembered hearing so many stories about how dangerous and scary Bellatrix could be, and she didn't want to be her victim. It scared her, the thought of being in Bellatrix's target sight, so she planned to stay out of the way.
Obviously, Celeste wouldn't back down from any mission, even if that meant she had to go against Bellatrix, but she refused to be on her own if it happened. She hoped if she was ever against Bellatrix, that she had a skilled auror with her to help her fight the evil witch. She did not want Oliver put in the dangerous line of fire.
After the death of her father, Celeste had made a special chocolate in the shape of a paw print that she named "Padfoot's Paws." Only members of the Order, and those close to Sirius, knew who Padfoot was, everyone else just believed it was some version of puppy paws, but with a different name.
Harry was mad at her for it, but after tasting how good the chocolate was, he got over his anger. He and Celeste obviously weren't going to be as close as they had been before, at least for a little while, but they had their reasons. Things weren't the same for anyone, and everyone knew it. The Order and the Weasleys weren't really as affected by Sirius's death as Lupin, Celeste, Oliver, and Harry, but they were as affected as everyone else when it came to the return of You-Know-Who.
Though You-Know-Who was announced to be back, Oliver was still asked to come back for quidditch practice. Celeste wasn't too happy about it, but she wasn't going to stop him from following his dreams. Each night she went to bed on her own, she would worry about Oliver for hours. She barely slept, but she couldn't let anyone know just how torn up she really was.
She didn't want him worrying about her. He needed to be happy, and the one way she was going to make sure of that, was to always wear makeup to cover up how tired she was. He could never surprise her and see her dark bags if she always wore makeup. The only person who knew she was barely sleeping was Tonks, but that was because Tonks was doing the same when it came to Lupin. Often times, the girls would confide in each other about their worries and troubles. They had grown close, and it seemed to be a good thing for both of them.
Celeste and Tonks worked together in Celeste's shop often, so they wouldn't be alone. When Tonks wasn't working, she was helping Celeste. When Celeste wasn't working, she was with Tonks, or helping the twins at their joke shop. As long as she stayed busy, her mind wouldn't wander and make her worry more and more. Only at night did she worry. Only at night did her mind wander, and make her feel like she was going to fall apart. The world was just going to get worse, and she was barely handling it...
