When Celeste had met the new DADA professor for the first time, she couldn't help but feel like he was familiar to her. She swore she recognized his face, but she couldn't figure it out. He looked and sounded so familiar though, which bothered her immensely. She tried asking Mattheo if he recognized Professor Lupin, but Mattheo simply called the man an "oaf" and told her to not worry about him.

Celeste couldn't deny the fact that Professor Lupin was one of the best DADA professors in her Hogwarts years, and she believed Lockhart was the worst. Quirrell was bad too, but he was nowhere near as bad as Lockhart. Lockhart was too self-obsessed to be a professor, and Celeste knew he was a big fraud. He didn't even know the answers to his own questions in DADA, and that was even after he claimed to have read the books, and written many of his own. The irony that he had obliviated himself and forgot all of his own lies was just hilarious to Celeste.

Remus Lupin, the new DADA professor, had recognized Celeste as well. When he had been told about his students, he was surprised to know that Celeste would be in his class. Honestly, he had missed the girl, and wondered how much she had changed since she was a small child. Remus had spent most of her younger years with her, until she was given to the Malfoys after Sirius betrayed James Potter.

Remus had wondered if the Malfoys told Celeste about him, about Sirius, about everything, but he knew that the Malfoys would lie. They would tell Celeste their version of everything, which was what Remus didn't want. Remus was Celeste's godfather, according to Sirius, so he believed Celeste should've at least known him throughout her life. Remus knew the Malfoys would try to push Celeste to the dark side, he just hoped she was smart enough not to go that far.

Seeing that she was in Slytherin worried Remus greatly, but he tried not to show it. Since he had heard Oliver Wood and a couple of his friends talking about Celeste, Remus had decided to mix up his seating arrangements in his classes. He would have the houses mix, but he would assign their seats. He had chosen Oliver and Celeste to sit next to each other.

Celeste had been surprised when Professor Lupin had sat her next to Oliver. Honestly, she was glad that Lupin had sat her next to Oliver, since Mattheo had been sat with another girl by the name of Georgia Westbrook. Georgia was a Gryffindor, but Mattheo's problem with her was that she was airheaded. He didn't even care that she was a half blood, he just hated that she was so airheaded.

Oliver had tried to discreetly talk to Celeste a couple of times, but the girl never talked back. After the first two times, he sort of gave up. Instead, he switched to writing her notes. She wouldn't answer them often, but when she did, he could feel himself grow warm with happiness. He could tell that something was bothering her though, but since she wouldn't really talk to him, he couldn't be sure what was wrong with her. He tried to figure it out though, even if it was somewhat hard to figure out.

The day that he had heard someone murmur about Sirius Black, and he seen Celeste flinch slightly at the name, he had a feeling that Black was one of the main reasons she was acting weird during her classes. He also knew there was more to it though, but he figured that had to do with the Malfoys. The Malfoys always seemed to be the reason for Celeste to be at least a little upset.

A day after Celeste was called into Dumbledore's office, she had started hearing rumors about herself. Apparently, according to Gretchen and Regina, Celeste was a criminal, and she was conspiring with Sirius Black. The two girls didn't know the full extent of Celeste's connection to Sirius, but they believed she was closer to him, since her real last name was Black and not Malfoy. They knew she was a Black and not a Malfoy, but they didn't know exactly who she was related to. Well, she was related to both, but they didn't know exactly who the actual parents of Celeste were, since Celeste kept that a secret from everyone.

Celeste had been approached by Mcgonagall, and the professor believed it might be safer if Celeste didn't go to Hogsmeade. The problem was, this year was her last year of having Hogsmeade weekends, but she couldn't do much if her father was causing her issues. Celeste had made a compromise with Mcgonagall though, and promised to stay with someone at all times. If she was around someone, her father wouldn't try to approach her.

Lupin had also mentioned that it was a good idea to stay away from Hogsmeade, but Celeste still refused. She wasn't letting anyone mess up one of the last few things she had that was fun. Honestly, she really only went to Hogsmeade, so she could have a butterbeer and try to sneak something sweet in without getting into trouble. Mattheo always kept the sweets a secret, but that was because Celeste kept secrets for him as well.

Only two days after her meeting in Dumbledore's office, Celeste recieved a letter from her uncle, telling her he'd take care of the Minister and his accusations. He promised the man wouldn't bother her anymore, but Celeste had a feeling the aurors wouldn't care what her uncle said to them. She couldn't be sure though, so she hoped for the best.

Celeste almost wanted to count down the days until the Ministry bothered her once again over her father. She didn't know how long it would be, but they would figure out a time or reason to do so. She just promised herself she'd have her uncle present when they tried to threaten her again...
