After exams, Celeste had began to feel less anxious. She had to make perfect grades on her O.W.L.s, otherwise her uncle would be pissed. She knew she shouldn't care about what her uncle though of her grades, but if her grades were bad enough, she could be severely punished for it.

"Celeste, can we finally go back to being friends again?" Gretchen asked, causing the girl to sigh.

"We were never not friends, Gretchen. I've just needed time to think." Celeste replied, watching the other girl roll her eyes.

"You know Regina, Mattheo, and I are here to talk to. We understand that your aunt and uncle are pressuring you. We have the same thing happening to us." Gretchen said, causing Celeste to scoff.

"You follow along with everything your parents want, Gretch. No matter how ridiculous their demands are, you follow like the good little puppy you are." Celeste retorted, and her friend glared at her.

"I'm going to let that go, since I know you've been having a hard time," Gretchen began,"Maybe you should follow along with what Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy have asked of you, then you wouldn't be punished. Be the good girl you've always wanted to be and listen to them for once. Stop hanging out with those Gryffindors, and your life wouldn't be so hard." She sneered, before walking out of the room.

Celeste knew as time went on, she and Gretchen would grow apart. Gretchen seemed to be changing her mind slowly, and was starting to agree with the pure blood ideology. Celeste was sad that her friend was changing, but she knew she was changing as well. She was seeing more and more bad things when it came to her family. She wondered why all of her family was so horrible. Her uncle was a follower of the Dark Lord, as was her aunt--somewhat--and her mother had been, before she died. Her uncle Regulus had died because of the Dark Lord, after he blindly followed what the Black family had wanted him to. Hell, in the end, Celeste learned that even her father was a bad guy, since he ended up in Azkaban for killing muggles.

Sighing quietly to herself, Celeste walked to the Great Hall for lunch. She was surprised to see an owl fly in and drop a letter in front of her. Biting her lip, she slowly opened the letter and peered at the words in front of her.

  'Dear Celeste,

Celeste, I am sorry for the way things happened after the ball. You have to understand, your uncle and I are just trying to do what is best for you. You're a young girl, and we don't want you to be hurt by bad decisions. With that being said, you and your uncle will be having a chat when you come home for summer, and your uncle has already decided that you will not be going to see any friends this holiday. I am sorry, sweetheart.

You are an exceptionally bright girl, Celeste, and I know you will achieve great things. This summer, your uncle and I will be trying to help her relationship with Ethan Rosier. He is a nice boy, and he is sorry for what happened at the ball. We believe that he is the perfect boy for you. He's a pure blood, has good money, and knows what's right and what's to be expected of us pure bloods. Your uncle has considered giving you time to spend with Ethan over the summer, but he has not completely decided yet. We will know after your chat. I love you, Celeste, and I hope you can forgive me for the holiday dispute.

Love,
Narcissa Malfoy'

Growling quietly to herself, Celeste burned the letter in her hands.

"Another letter from the Malfoys that will ruin your life?" Mattheo asked sarcastically, as he sat down next to the girl.

Mattheo refused to give Celeste the chance to ignore him. Even when she didn't speak to him, the boy continued to talk to her and bombard her with his presence. Honestly, he hoped that would change her mind a little bit, and make her realize just how much she loved her friends. She needed to finally get back to her Slytherin friends, otherwise she would mess up, and she would put shame on her family name.

"What was it this time? Are they forcing ballet, piano, ballroom dancing?" He asked, looking over at the girl.

"I already know ballroom dancing, Mattheo. I learned that when I was young." She retorted, causing the boy to smirk.

"I know, but I was trying to get you to speak to me," He replied,"Actually, I've been trying since the Christmas holiday ended, but you've never said a thing. I'm shocked you've finally talked to me, if I'm honest." He commented, and the girl sighed.

"I've been trying to figure things out and think, Mattheo. I'm sorry if that's inconvenienced you in any way." She replied, making him smile.

"Apology accepted, so don't worry, Celeste, we can be friends again." He answered, causing the girl to simply roll her eyes.

"Gretchen said you yelled at her, but now you're friends with Mattheo. How the hell does that work?" Regina asked, crossing her arms.

"Mattheo is my cousin, so it's somewhat easier to be friends with him," Celeste murmured,"Besides, he didn't yell at me and tell me I need to learn how to be a good little pure blood puppet for my aunt and uncle. He's been trying to make things right, unlike everyone else who's been sulking because I haven't given them all of my attention when I wasn't feeling the best. When everyone should've been here to help me, they've been pouting about me not worrying about them the entire time, instead of trying to work on myself." She retorted, causing Regina to frown.

"I'm sorry, Celeste." Regina murmured, but Celeste merely nodded.

Celeste wasn't sure if she'd ever fix her friendship with Gretchen and Regina, but she was almost sure she would be able to fix her friendship with Mattheo. She just hoped her life wouldn't suck even more once school needed for the year...
