Celeste had continued to ignore everyone for a couple more weeks. She was confused as to why Gretchen had attacked Oliver. She was pissed at Gretchen for yelling at her, especially since she thought her friend knew how horrible her home life really was. Gretchen's home life wasn't as bad though, since she seemed to followed what her parents had wanted, unlike Celeste. Celeste was also mad at Oliver and his friends. They shouldn't have sat with her, if they didn't, Oliver never would've been attacked by Gretchen. If Gretchen seen the Gryffindors with her, than that meant more Slytherins could've seen, and Celeste would be in a lot of trouble once the summer holiday came.
Celeste had started studying more and only worrying about her school work. She didn't go out of her way to hang out with her friends, nor did she go out of her way to speak to Draco. She was still mad at Draco as well. Honestly, she hoped he would apologize and finally realize everything that he had done wrong to her. She knew it would be hard for him to realize, but she knew tough love would help steer him in the right direction. She just hoped Lucius didn't get further into his head than Celeste believed the man already was.
Pulling out her DADA homework, Celeste began to work on it in the Slytherin common room. There was currently a quidditch game going on, so she had plenty of time to do her homework without problems or disruptions. She didn't neccesarily hate the Slytherins, but she wasn't too fond of them; not anymore anyway. They had pissed her off, and they never really seemed to want to try and get back on her good side.
"Celeste!" She heard, causing her to groan.
Quidditch meant everyone would be out watching it, and she would have time to do her homework without anyone bothering her. It also meant she'd get peace and quiet, without people asking her how she was or if she was finally going to tell them what was bothering her. Hell, she had almost promised herself that she would never talk to the Gryffindors ever again, knowing she would get more of a punishment than she recieved after her outburst at the ball.
"Yes, Draco?" She asked, not turning towards the young boy.
"Can I talk to you?" He asked, slowly walking over to her.
Draco knew the girl was mad at him, he just wasn't sure why. Well, he was now, but at first he wasn't. Matter of fact, he asked his friends to help spy on her to finally figure out what was wrong, but it took more time than he initially wanted. Sighing, the boy sat down on the couch next to his cousin, causing the girl to frown and close her DADA book.
"Is there something you need, Draco?" She asked, causing the boy to bite his lip.
"Celeste, I'm sorry about whatever I did to make you mad at me. I'm guessing it's because I didn't speak up to my father, but you know how harsh he can be. If I was to speak up to him, I would be punished severely." Draco said, causing the girl to sigh.
"Draco, that may be one of the issues, but that's not everything," She commented,"First, if you actually love someone as much as you claim, you'd speak up for them, even if you get hurt. I don't expect you to speak up for me, because I don't want you to be hurt, but that's just for future reference; such as if you need to speak up for someone you care about later in life. Second, my problem is also that you never came to check on me. You never brought me food, and you never asked Aunt Cissa if I was okay. Aunt Cissa seen me only twice, and both times I asked about you, and she told me you never once wondered about me. You didn't even try to speak to me on the train," Celeste continued,"Aunt Cissa hasn't sent me a letter to check in with me since I left. Honestly Draco, I feel like I'm not welcomed in the manor anymore. I feel like everyone hates me, but I'm starting to try and accept it. As long as I have somewhere to live until I graduate, that's fine. I can try to figure everything else out on my own afterward." She finished, as she watched Draco's face fall.
Draco couldn't believe his cousin felt like he hated her. He loved the girl, more than he would ever admit. She was his best friend, and he looked up to her more than his father ever would've approved of. He wanted to be just like her; not afraid of anything, smart, and beyond anything else, loving, even when it hurt to love someone. Feeling tears come to his eyes, Draco leaned forward and wrapped his arms around his cousin.
"I don't hate you, Celeste. You're my best friend and I love you. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you, but I did check on you. I told Mother to keep it a secret, so you wouldn't worry about me. I tried to bring you food the second day you were in your room, but Father caught me. He hit me for it, and Mother made me promise not to try it again. I promise I didn't forget about you. Please don't hate me, Celeste." Draco said, his voice low.
"I love you, too." She murmured, holding the boy close to her chest.
Celeste hadn't known everything Draco had told her, but now that she knew, she felt horrible for being angry with him. She hoped to speak with him about Lucius, telling him everything that was bad about the man, but she didn't want to stress him out anymore than he already was. She was just glad that she had her cousin back, even if it took some tears to finally clear the air...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I am so sorry about not updating. I am working on so many stories, mostly Marvel and Harry Potter, so I've been trying to make time for each story. Also, I've been having some serious headaches very often, so it's not always easy to think of what to write when my head hurts so bad I can barely open my eyes sometimes.
Love you guys!
