Celeste's shop had been running well, and she was very happy with where her life seemed to be going. She and Oliver's relationship was going well, and Lupin didn't seem as depressed as he was when she first met him. Honestly, everything seemed to be getting better, other than the influx of letters she was receiving from Harry. Harry kept asking her if she knew what was going on, and why his friends weren't answering him. Obviously, she didn't know the answer, but she tried to give him as much hope as possible when it came to his friends.
Celeste had asked Lupin about Ron and Hermione, but he claimed he didn't know what was up with them. The truth was, he really didn't know, but he knew it had something to do with them keeping a secret from their friend. Lupin didn't know why they were completely ignoring their friend, but he wasn't going to question Mrs. Weasley and the way she was having the children behave.
Lupin was actually supposed to be telling Celeste about the Order of the Phoenix, a group of good wizards against Dark wizards, and the Order was run by Dumbledore. Celeste had seen the stories in the newspaper about the disappearances of muggles and muggleborns, but she didn't seem to question it. She knew what was going on, and it made her sad, but she doubted there was much she could do.
Lupin was supposed to invite her to the Order, and have her and Oliver become members. She and Oliver were old enough to be complete members that could participate in missions—even though Lupin would definitely fight the missions part—but he couldn't bring himself to tell them about the Order. He had a couple of reasons for it, but the main reason was her father.
First reason, was because the meetings were at Grimmauld place, and he believed that place gave people a gloomy attitude. He didn't want them to feel that way, not after everything they've fought through to be happy. Second reason, was because he didn't want Oliver and Celeste going on missions that could potentially get them hurt or captured by Death Eaters. Lupin trusted Dumbledore, but not enough to send Oliver and Celeste on missions. His final and most important reason, was because Sirius was going to be there.
Since the meetings were held in Grimmauld place, where Sirius was currently residing, Sirius was always there. Obviously, Lupin couldn't exactly kick Sirius out of his own place for Celeste and Oliver, but he kind of wanted to. Anyhow, with that being said, Celeste would definitely become upset seeing Sirius, even if it was only for a couple of hours at a time. She made it almost obvious that she hated the man, so Lupin wasn't going to force her to see him.
Since Celeste hated Sirius, Oliver didn't question it, and hated the man, too. Technically, Oliver knew everything that Sirius did wrong to Celeste, and that made Olvier hate the man with a passion. He didn't understand how a man could leave his daughter behind and not give a damn about her. He didn't understand how a man could tell people lies and so many bad things about a daughter he barely knows. Honestly, Oliver felt that if Sirius ever said anything mean to Celeste in front of him, he'd fight him like a muggle would, and he wouldn't even feel bad about it one bit.
Celeste was such a nice girl, especially when she was working. Often times, she would offer free samples to so many different people, but mostly it was to the younger kids that came into her shops. If kids came in with their parents, she'd always ask the parents before she gave the child a chocolate or a different dessert. She didn't want to upset any parents, and potentially lose a lot of business.
Her business seemed to be her baby, and Lupin and Oliver did everything they could to help her out. She was a very independent woman though, so she often tried to do everything herself. Hiring Lupin was one of the ways she could make sure she didn't overdo anything, and it would also give Oliver a sense that Celeste wouldn't run herself to exhaustion.
Surprisingly, over the first month of the summer, Celeste's business had boomed. She had started receiving orders from all over the wizarding world. Honestly, she was very surprised, but she definitely was more than happy and excited to recieve all the orders. She and Lupin worked long hours some nights just to complete as many orders as possible. When Oliver visited, he often helped them complete orders, before he'd pick up an order for his quidditch team. They were very fond of her chocolates and desserts, so they expected Oliver to bring some back every time he went to visit Celeste.
His quidditch captain had actually joked that Oliver should marry Celeste simply for her chocolate and dessert making skills. Another team member then added that if Oliver didn't marry her and pop out a kid soon, someone else would sweep the dessert genius off her feet. Oliver obviously laughed at their jokes, but it did make him question if he should marry Celeste. He loved her, he truly did, but he didn't want to rush into marriage, especially not if she didn't want to.
To be honest, he'd marry her any day at any time, but he knew Celeste liked things to be taken slow. He didn't have any doubt that she was his forever, and she would tell him that he was hers, but he was worried that while he was away she would start to fancy someone else. He spent days at a time letting the doubts plague his mind, which he hated doing. After weeks of the thoughts though, he decided not to let the doubts get to him. Insecurity wasn't cute, and it wasn't something he wanted to be known for. So, he decided that if he loved her and she loved him, than that was enough for him to know she'd still love him even when he was away for quidditch...
