Ever since their kiss in the Room of Requirement, Celeste couldn't help but fight off a blush every time she seen Oliver. Obviously, she didn't have to fight it so hard when she simply spotted him, but when they made eye contact, it was almost impossible to fight off. She could still remember the feeling of his lips on hers, the thought almost made her blush every time she'd remember it.

Celeste and Oliver hadn't talked since that day, which was mostly because they didn't want anyone to get suspicious and get Celeste into trouble. Weeks later though, on her birthday, they did talk. Well, it was very minimal, but they still did talk to each other. Oliver had written her a small note to meet him in the Room of Requirement. Once they were in there, they had five minutes to talk or do whatever. Oliver had gotten the girl a birthday gift, as had his friends. Weston and Danny had gotten her sweets, Percy had gotten her a new notebook, and Oliver had gotten her a beautiful silver necklace with a small heart pendant on it.

"I know you might not be able to wear it when you're at the manor, but I knew it would look amazing on you," He said, as she had him place it around her neck.

"I love it. Thank you," She murmured, once he had clasped the necklace around her neck.

She turned around and hugged him, leaving a gentle kiss on his cheek, before she left the Room of Requirement. She couldn't be seen leaving the room, neither could Oliver, so they had to be careful. If someone seen either of them leave, then their meeting place would be found out. When she had gone to her dorm that night, she was surprised to see a small package on her bed. Opening it, she found out there was a book inside. Dracula by Bram Stoker, which was another muggle story.

'Happy 17th birthday, Celeste. You've grown into such a wonderful young lady. I hope you like this book. It was one of my favorites.
- Moony'

At first Celeste was worried that Moony might've been her father, but then she remembered that her father hadn't once tried to reach out to her, so she doubted he would send her a birthday gift. Also, he was an escaped Azkaban prisoner, so he really didn't have any money for gifts-or so she thought. She wouldn't know about anything Sirius gave Harry.

She hadn't really gotten anything from her family though. Draco had gotten her a few new quills, since he wasn't sure what to buy her for her birthday. Mattheo had gotten her new shoes, since he knew all women liked shoes. Lucius and Narcissa hadn't gotten her anything, they hadn't even sent an owl with a happy birthday message. Ethan hadn't sent her anything either, not that she wanted anything from him, but it made the marriage seem like it was going to be way worse.

Celeste was upset that her aunt and uncle didn't get her anything or wish her a happy birthday, but she was going to have to learn to deal with it. Her family was slowly pushing her out, most likely as a way of making the marriage more permanent, but Celeste hated it. She just wanted to get out and run away, but there was nowhere for her to go. Instead of crying about it though, Celeste simply opened her new book and began to read it.

On the other side of the school, Remus Lupin sat pondering about how his goddaughter was celebrating her birthday. He hated Sirius for leaving Celeste behind. He hated Sirius for betraying him, the Potters, Wormtail, and Celeste. Most of all, he hated Sirius for being a terrible father.

The first three years of Celeste's life, Sirius was somewhat there. Yes, he had left the Malfoy girl with a baby, but Sirius somewhat tried. He visited the kid a few times, and he gave her gifts, but he was never too attached to her. He seen her as a mistake he made while being a stupid teenager. Three, almost four years later, when Harry was born, Sirius doted on him.

Sirius loved the little boy more than anything in the world. Sirius was his godfather, but Remus wondered just how much Sirius could've actually loved the boy, if he was willing to sell him out to You-Know-Who. Remus could remember the way Celeste would frown when she seen her father with Harry. Remus had been named as Celeste's godfather almost instantly, since it seemed everyone knew he'd love her.

Remus was the one to care for Celeste when she was supposed to be cared for by Sirius. He was the one who loved her, cherished her, and picked her up when she was down. Sirius didn't seem to care, especially once James and Lily had their son. Honestly, Remus was disgusted by Sirius's behaviour, since Sirius seemed to almost hate his own daughter. If he was honest, Remus could only wish to have his own child, especially one as amazing as Celeste.

Celeste was bright, funny, and sweet when she was little, but Sirius didn't even look her way. Matter of fact, he had even forgotten her birthday the same year Harry was born, but Remus took care of it. He pretended that the gifts he had gotten her were from Sirius. Lily was the only other person who loved Celeste as Remus did. She would play with the little girl, dress her up, and give her all the love and care that the girl needed. When Sirius forgot her birthday, Lily chewed him out for hours, before bringing Celeste out for ice cream, cake, and presents.

Sirius was a shit father in Remus and Lily's eyes, but to James he could do no wrong. James didn't believe Sirius was being harsh towards Celeste. He seemed to believe that Celeste was simply just a random child, instead of being his best mate's little girl. James could've been someone Celeste looked up to, but instead he somewhat ignored her too. He didn't forget her birthday, but he didn't go out of his way to play with her either. Remus had been all she had then, and now she was all he had now...
