Soon, the champions had come out and were announced to everyone that had come to watch the final task. Celeste seen Harry standing with Moody, and when her eyes landed on Moody, a shiver went down her spine. Something wasn't right about him, and she could tell almost immediately. She wasn't sure what it was though, so she kept the observation to herself.

The champions were brought to the front of the maze, and the rules were explained, before all four champions went into the maze and nobody could see them afterward. Celeste sat with her hands gripping her seat nervously. She didn't know what was going on inside of the maze, but her belly was full of butterflies, and she knew something was off.

"I don't know what it is, but I feel like something's wrong." Celeste murmured to Lupin, causing the man to turn to her.

"Celeste, the task has only just started. I doubt anything is wrong. Maybe you're feeling that way because you think your father is here or something." Lupin replied, but Celeste shook her head.

"No, if I had a feeling he was close, my skin would be crawling right now." She retorted, scowling at the mere thought of seeing her father.

Celeste sat silently once again, as she waited for something, anything to happen that would explain why she was feeling off. Moments later, she seen sparks from the maze, signaling someone was hurt and needed help. At first, she was afraid that it was Harry. That worry didn't stay long though, since Fleur Delacour was pulled out of the maze minutes later.

It was obvious that Fleur was shaken up, but before Celeste could observe her any longer, she was grabbed by healers to be examined and fixed up. Celeste had seen many cuts and scrapes on the girl though, so she knew it wasn't exactly a fun or safe maze at all that the champions were being forced to go through. She knew it couldn't be easy tasks if the winner was given such a great prize, but Celeste believed they could at least keep death off the table. Celeste wouldn't be surprised if the poor champions weren't stuck with PTSD after everything that had to endure.

Celeste had been reading a lot about disorders and other health problems, to see which ones she essentially had from living with the Malfoys, as well as from being abandoned by her father at such a young age, and losing her mother and the only uncle that seemed to give a damn about her. She was lucky to have Lupin now though, but he was her godfather, and she had only been speaking of blood related family. Her not blood related family, which was Lupin and a few others, didn't abandon her and she cherished them.

Well, technically one could say Lupin abandoned her, but he didn't completely do so on his own accord. The Malfoys would not let him be around her, and he was scared to tell her who he was when he was a Professor at Hogwarts for a while. Lucius and Narcissa knew who he was, and they knew he was her godfather, but he was a half-breed, and they hated him. They hoped to have Celeste feeling the same, but obviously they didn't get their wish, since Celeste now lived with Lupin in her own manor away from the Malfoys, and she only ever contacted the youngest Malfoy when she ever had the chance to do so.

A while had passed, but Celeste wasn't sure exactly how long. She had been too nervous to keep up with the time. When she started seeing movement amongst the crowd, she knew something was off. She swore she seen Lucius disappear a bit into the task, which had made absolutely no sense to her, since he was there to watch the task and nothing else. She had even noticed Moody looking a little nervous, but after a while his nervousness went away, and a smirk seemed to replace on his lips for a moment.

"It should be over soon." Lupin commented, and Celeste nodded.

"If the rest of them aren't dead in there." Celeste replied, making the man frown.

"Don't say something like that. Think happy thoughts, and that's what will happen." Lupin said, but Celeste shook her head.

"You always say horrible things about yourself, and no matter how much I try to change your mind, you don't listen," Celeste retorted,"So, I'm trying to stay positive, but this tournament is dangerous. Many bad things have happened, and I can't help but think that we're not going to see a happy ending." She added, causing the man to sigh.

"I guess you're right, but we might be surprised by the turnout." Lupin answered simply, and Celeste agreed.

When Harry had been given a spot on the Gryffindor quidditch team in his first year, she thought he was going to be trash, but she was surprised to see that he wasn't bad, and he had actually won quidditch matches without really any help. Obviously Oliver had to teach him some stuff, but he was still pretty good.

Harry had managed to surprise Celeste a few times, and not all of them were good surprises. Some were moments where he managed to royally piss her off, but she was still surprised by him. Celeste hoped that this task would be one of those moments.

Celeste watched as people started cheering, as the maze slowly opened up. Celeste couldn't tell what was really going on, since they weren't close enough to see the front of the maze well. She could tell something was wrong by the way a few people around the maze opening were acting, but she couldn't tell exactly what was wrong. Her stomach started to fill with butterflies, mostly from nerves, but she still couldn't tell what was wrong. She didn't know anything, until she knew it was too late to prepare for what was to come...
