Celeste and Oliver were interrupted during their lunch by a patronus. Lupin had sent the patronus, telling the couple that something had happened, and that they needed to aparate to the Ministry. When they arrived, they had to get to where the fight was going on. When they found the others, Celeste was surprised to see some of the students from the DA Harry had told her about.

"what's going on?" Celeste asked, as she ran up to Lupin.

"We've got to capture the Death Eaters." He replied, and the girl nodded.

Celeste and Oliver shot spells at the Death Eaters, trying to keep themselves safe. When Celeste seen Lucius, her heart stopped for a moment. His eyes locked with hers, and a sneer came to his face.

"You," He spat,"I always knew you were going to be a blood traitor like your father. You ran back to the man that never wanted you. You ran off with a half-blood and left your family behind."

"Don't listen to him, Celeste." Sirius said, as he stepped out near Lucius and Celeste.

"Ah, the horrible excuse of a father," Lucius commented,"You're here to pretend to be a good man, right?" He rhetorically asked,"You missed that moment years ago, I think the half-blood over here has you beat." He added, as he motioned to Oliver.

Quickly Celeste pointed her wand at Lucius and shot him with a spell. He went tumbling backwards, as Celeste tried to clear her head. In seconds, Celeste turned around, but before she could raise her wand, she was hit with a spell, leaving a gash in her arm. She hissed in pain, causing Oliver to quickly turn towards her.

In seconds, he jinxed the Death Eater, before he ripped off the sleeve of her shirt, and tied it around her arm to stop the bleeding. Celeste and Oliver followed the others, shouting spells and jinxs in all directions.

"Good one James." She heard, causing her to frown as she turned towards Harry for a second.

Before anyone could react, Bellatrix hit Sirius with a spell. Celeste didn't hear what it was, but he started stumbling backwards. Everyone watched as he fell back into the ancient archway of the Death Chamber. Celeste's heartbeat seemed to stop for a moment, and she didn't know how to feel. She just watched her father die in front of her eyes, but there was nothing she could do about it. She was too slow, she couldn't save him, but she also wondered if she actually would've.

She was brought back into reality, when Oliver placed his hand on her arm. The two locked eyes, and she gave a stiff nod, before they went back to fight. Before long, Dumbledore arrived, and everyone was able to leave. Instead of going to see a healer for her arm, Celeste had decided to go back to her manor with Oliver.

Celeste and Oliver sat in silence for some time, as Oliver cleaned up her arm and bandaged it. Once her arm was bandaged, he called for Sweeney to make Celeste some tea. She was in shock, and she needed time to realize what happened before he really bothered her.

"He's gone." Celeste murmured, after grabbing her tea.

"He is." Oliver answered, nodding stiffly.

"How am I supposed to feel?" She asked,"I don't feel sad, but I don't feel happy. He was my father. I watched him die, but I can't cry. I don't know what's wrong with me." She said, making her boyfriend frown.

"Nothing's wrong with you, Angel. You're in shock. Besides, you and Sirius never had the best relationship, so nobody can expect you to feel devastated. As long as you're not happy he's gone, that's all that matters, I guess." He replied, causing her to nod.

"I am sad, I know I am. I can feel it in my chest, but I just can't cry. I think he hurt me too much to get that reaction out of me. I do wish he was still here though, if only for Harry. I know Harry is hurting right now." Celeste answered, and Oliver smiled sympathetically.

"You take the time to come to terms with everything, before you try and take care of anyone else. Harry will understand, and he has the Weasleys to help him right now." Oliver said, causing the girl to nod once again.

"Do you think we can go lay down?" Celeste asked,"I need to rest." She added, and Oliver nodded.

Oliver helped Celeste walk to their room and lay down, before he kicked off his own shoes and laid down. He held the girl close to his chest, knowing she needed as much comfort as he could give her. She may have hated the man, but he was still her father, and she watched him die right in front of her.

Oliver hoped he could help her come to terms with what happened. He hoped she wouldn't fall apart after Sirius's death. She may not have been close to him, but technically he was the only living thing connecting her with her Uncle Regulus. He also knew there was a chance that she'd start hating herself for what happened to her father. It may not have been her fault, but she would believe that if they hadn't fought, he wouldn't have died in the Ministry.

Lupin would eventually come to see her with Tonks, and they would try and cheer her up. The married couple were two of her favorite people, so Oliver hoped they would help. Celeste didn't deserve to be sad anymore in her life. She deserved to be happy and have everything in her life turn out right.

Truth be told, Celeste didn't know it, but Sirius was proud of her. He was proud of her accomplishments, and proud of how beautiful and smart she was. He was glad that she had found herself such a sweet man to be her boyfriend. Sirius never told her, and Celeste would never know it, but that's just how things would end...
