Oliver had been excited when the first Hogsmeade weekend had finally arrived. He had been using the Weasley twins for his bidding recently, asking them to purchase sweets at Honeydukes for him. He made sure they didn't buy any prank sweets or pastries for Celeste, since he didn't want to upset her. Now that the first Hogsmeade weekend of the year had come, Oliver was finally able to go to Honeydukes himself.
He decided he would buy quite a bit of things for Celeste, as well as some for himself. Percy, Danny, and Weston had followed him straight to Honeydukes as soon as they arrived in Hogsmeade. They knew Oliver was pretty much obsessed with Celeste, but the girl hadn't been outrageously rude to him, so they decided to help him with his crush. They knew it was better to indulge him, since he had been in love with the girl since first year.
"Do you think she'd like every flavored beans, or should I stick with chocolate, or maybe she'd like fairy floss, or--" Oliver rambled, before Percy cut him off.
"Mate, you know practically everything about her. Get whatever your heart tells you to get, otherwise we'll be in here for days." He said, causing Oliver to sigh shakily, and nod his head.
"You're right," Oliver answered,"I know practically everything about her. I doubt I could choose something she wouldn't like." He added, causing his friends to merely roll their eyes.
He had been sending the sweets in secret. He didn't want Celeste to know it was him. Well, he did, but he didn't want her getting in trouble for receiving gifts from him. He also didn't want her getting in trouble for eating sweets and such, since she was forbidden to eat them by her aunt and uncle. He thought it was absolutely ridiculous, but he wasn't going to say anything.
Oliver could tell that the sweets were helping the girl a bit. He could tell that something was bothering her, but since she didn't talk to him, he didn't know exactly what was wrong with her. He wished to ask her, but he knew she'd try to push him away. It wasn't that she was trying to be outwardly rude, it was just that she was trying to keep herself from getting into trouble for talking to anyone she wasn't supposed to. Technically, she was also protecting him from her family, even though he believed he could protect himself from them if he needed to.
Oliver wondered if Celeste would ever realize that the gifts were from him. He wondered if she would thank him for the gifts, or if she would scold him for it. She was a nice girl, and he admired her with every fiber of his being. She was everything to him and more, but he didn't know if he'd ever be able to tell her the truth. He had a feeling she knew, from all of his gifts and letters, but he never fully expressed his feelings to her through his letters or when he spoke to her.
Celeste was beautiful, and she always had been. He knew quite a bit about her; including things he heard from other students. Obviously, he didn't believe everything, such as when he heard from a first year that Celeste's hair would glow a bright white when there was a full moon. Apparently, the first year had been told the fib from a few older students who wanted to frighten him after he had accidentally bumped into Draco.
Speaking of Draco, Oliver thought the boy was a bit of a git when he wasn't around Celeste, but he would never tell Celeste that. She loved her cousin with her entire heart, and Oliver knew better than to say anything negative about the boy. He remembered how she reacted when Harry Potter had gotten praised in first year and given a chance to be on the quidditch team early, but her cousin hadn't been given the same treatment. He knew there was house prejudice, even with the professors, but there wasn't anything he could do about it.
"Mate, isn't that Celeste?" Danny asked, as he pointed to the girl that was running away from Hogsmeade.
"Yes, I wonder what happened, and where her friends are." He replied, causing Percy to look over at him.
"Fred and George said she got into an argument with the other two girls, so they don't want to talk to her anymore. Apparently they've been trying to spread rumors about her, but none of them have been believed so far." Percy said, making Oliver frown.
"Where's Riddle?" Weston asked, knowing Mattheo was always with Celeste.
"He went off with some of his friends. I think it was important, otherwise he wouldn't have left her just because his friends wanted him." Danny replied, and Oliver nodded in agreement.
Mattheo was the one person who didn't leave Celeste, even when she was mad at him. Obviously Draco was there for her as well, but he was young, and he had his own friends, as well as his own life to figure out. Oliver didn't blame the boy for not always being with Celeste, since he needed to live his own life. Oliver almost wished he and Celeste were back in third year, when everything was easier for her. She was more of a bitch then, but at least she was happier.
"I should go after her." Oliver commented, breaking the small silence.
"I don't know if that's a good idea. You know she's going through a lot. If she's seen with anyone that her family doesn't approve of, she could be made even more miserable." Percy said, and Oliver sighed with a nod.
Percy was right, even if Oliver hated to admit it. He didn't want to get Celeste in more trouble that she was already in, but he was really worried about her. He wanted to help her, and sooner or later he would, he just didn't know how yet...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I figured you guys would like a chapter in Oliver's life, so it wasn't all in the life of Celeste. I could do others as well, but the story revolves more around Oliver and Celeste, so I don't know who else's life would really matter; other than maybe Draco.
Love you guys!
