Dear Celeste,
I read about your engagement in the Daily Prophet today. I know it might sound crazy, but I could see it in your eyes that you're unhappy. I also know what I have to say really doesn't count for much, but I hope you know I'm here for you. I hate that you have to marry that git. You deserve to marry the one you love; the one you're destined to be with.
I also really liked the gift you sent me; I'm using it right now actually. It works very well, if I do say so myself. Percy said he's keeping his for school work, which is hilarious. He also said he sent a letter to Charlie about you, and Charlie hopes to see you again one day. I believe you'll most likely see him the day you run away from that bloody maniac, Ethan Rosier.
Mum and Dad are hoping that you are safe as well. They seen your story in the paper, and they're worried about you. Don't worry, I haven't told them much about you, other than that you're a sweet girl and you're nothing like you're family. They're worried something will happen to you because of him. If you ever feel afraid or you need to get away, please know that our door will always be open for you.
- O. W.'
Celeste could feel tears in her eyes after reading the letter from Oliver. She hated that she was engaged to Ethan Rosier, but there wasn't anything anyone could do. Technically, she didn't sign any papers, so if she ran off after turning seventeen, she couldn't be forced by the Ministry to marry him, but if her aunt and uncle knew she was trying to run, they'd definitely make her marry him early, or make her sign a paper that would force her to do so.
Oliver was a good boy, and Celeste wished she could be friends with him. He made her happy at times, and in that moment, she didn't feel completely alone. There wasn't much anyone could do for her, obviously, but his simple words had made some of her dread wash away. If she was lucky, she wouldn't feel as awful by the time she went back to Hogwarts, but she doubted that would happen.
Celeste knew she wasn't supposed to talk to Oliver, or anyone of a different blood status, belief, or Hogwarts house than her, but she really couldn't help herself. She wanted to send a letter back to Oliver. It was weird, since she never really gave him much attention before, but now it seemed that he may as well be her only friend in the world. She couldn't tell Mattheo too much of her issues, since she knew he could easily tell her family, or worse, one day his own.
Pulling out some parchment and a quill, Celeste began to write a letter to Oliver. She hoped the letter wouldn't be intercepted, but if it was, she was almost willing to accept the punishment she would definitely recieve for it. She just wanted a friend, someone who knew she was having a hard time, and didn't try to push more problems on her. She just hoped she picked the right person to confide in.
'Dear Oliver,
I know I'm taking a risk sending you an owl back, but I really wanted to thank you. Honestly, you're the only person who has tried to make my situation better. My aunt and uncle have been trying to force more and more things on me, so I've been trying to avoid them as best as I can.
After having to quit quidditch, I knew things were going to go downhill, but I didn't believe it would be this bad. I'm not going to go into detail about anything, and I know you can just imagine what all has happened, but I can tell you that nothing is perfect here.
If I had a chance, I would go, but I can't. They'd find me, and they'd hurt anyone who tried to help me. I have to figure this out on my own, even if that means I have to marry that brute. It's not a part of my plans, believe me, but it seems things are never going to go the way I want them.
Please be careful with the amount of times you send an owl. My uncle will catch on that I am receiving an owl from someone other than Ethan or Mattheo. I don't want either of us to be in the center of his wrath.

Celeste had quickly sent the owl, hoping Lucius and Narcissa wouldn't see it. The house elf that was assigned to her, Lonnie, would never tell anyone what she was doing. She was the only one that was nice to the house elf, so the house elf was very loyal to her. Matter of fact, the house elf had been her mother's, and since her mother died, the house elf was hers-technically. With that being said, the house elf didn't have to answer to Lucius or Narcissa if she didn't want to.
There wasn't many things of her mother's that Celeste received, mostly because Lucius had kept most of it. He claimed it was to keep everything safe for Celeste, but she knew it was because he didn't want her to have anything. She really didn't mind though, since she knew one day she'd get it all back from the grumpy, blonde, arsehole.
After sending the owl, Celeste walked over to her bed and laid down. She felt worn out after dealing with the engagement, as well as the terrible Christmas that she had to endure. If it wasn't for Draco, she wouldn't have even came out of her room. She would've had Lonnie bring her food, except she knew Lonnie would've been punished for doing so. Lonnie had been forbidden to feed Celeste many times, and the house elf learned that she would be severely punished if she did feed the girl. Celeste refused for her house elf to be punished, so she tried to keep Lonnie out of trouble...
