Its been 2 weeks since I got discharged from the hospital and all I need is a bit of sleep. This little girl keeps me up all night, she's such a Cryer I'm tired, I need a day off. She's either on my boob sucking the life out of it or she's crying for absolutely no reason.

Right now I've just put her to sleep so I think I should also get a bit of sleep while she rests as well, before I could even prepare the bed for myself the door swings open and Andiswa walks in "where's my little niece!!!" did I tell you how loud Ndiswa is?

"sshhh... She's asleep" I whisper, she mouthed a sorry before she walks out. I finally get to sleep. But my sleep is short-lived in about 30 minutes into my nap she is up and crying again, yoh Ntokozo will honestly be the death of me.

My mother in law walks in and takes her "lala Makoti..." I guess she has seen how tired I've been for the past couple of days. I continue with my nap.

My phone is ringing and I guess that's what wakes me up from my sleep "hello...", I pick up "Hawu makaNtokozo ulele yin?" that's Nathi, "yebo, what's up?" he laughs "she's exhausting you already, she's a real mabaso baby I guess..." why is he calling me "I'm on my way there, ufuna ngikuphathele ini?" One thing about nathi, he is such a sweetheart. "triple chocolate cake from Woolworths please!" he chuckles "still having pregnancy cravings I see, I'll see you in a bit" he hung up.

I woke up, took a shower, I've removed my stitches so bathing is way less painful now. I change into another dress. My bedroom is downstairs now since it's difficult getting up the stairs with stitches.

I walk out down the passage and find everyone in the sitting room and my baby is sleeping on the couch, ma placed her blanket on the couch to make a mini bed for her and she's sleeping so peacefully with her tiny thumb in her mouth.

"you're finally up..." she gets up and shortly after walks back with a tray of food, "I might just stay here for longer" she chuckles "then that gives me more time with my granddaughter" while I'm eating Muzi walks in "Sanbona ekhaya kwaMabaso" he is carrying groceries, "Hawu Muzi, sawubona" MA Greets, I also greet then he walks off to the kitchen with Andiswa to pack everything.

Shortly after he is followed by Nathi and he has my cake!! He's holding a paper bag from Toys-r-us. "hey mummy bear" ma and I both look up and he laughs "ma I mean the new mummy bear not you Haibo Ntombo" we laugh, "this is for you and this is for the princess" I take a peak of what is inside the paper bag and it's a doll house assemble. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life, my baby is only a couple of weeks old yet here he is buying her a doll house?

"Nathi, she's not even 6 months yet at least" he smiles "I couldn't help it, these toys all looks so cute" while we are all laughing Muzi walks back to the sitting room "what happened?" he asks and uMa shows him what nathi got for Ntokozo, he doesn't seem too please, "it wasn't necessary" he says, in a very dismissive tone. "well I couldn't help it" Nathi responds, "how about you start minding your own business, she's my daughter" that's Muzi's response.

I don't get why Muzi is turning this into such a big deal. Nathi takes his car keys "I'll see you guys some other time" he kisses ma's cheek then walks off, this whole altercation was unnecessary from my view.

I move my baby to the bedroom then put the baby monitor while I prepare dinner for everyone including Muzi. I make a simple beef stew and pap with cabbage. I set the table and everyone comes, we say grace and eat.

After dinner I clear the table and while washing the dishes ma goes off to bed, Andiswa goes up to her room and ubaba isn't home yet. Muzi walks into the kitchen and it's so awkward. "Uhm, Aya, can I take you out for breakfast tomorrow?" how this is weird and totally unexpected. "I'd love to but uOwami is still wayy too young to be left with anyone else, she isn't even a month old yet" he chuckles nervously "oh yeah you're right, maybe some other time then?" I smile and nodd "sure, some other time" I respond "well I better get going, goodnight, kiss her goodnight for me" I nodd then he walks out.

This is weird honestly. But I don't know what this guy is playing at, I'm truly not interested, I don't want to regret allowing him into my life again. Besides him and I are way too different, I feel more myself around Nathi than I do when I'm with Muzi.

After dishes I go up to change her nappy then feed her again before bedtime, which she hardly ever sleeps. Once she dozed off I decided to call Nathi, don't look at me like that! I just want to thank him for the gift and the cake.

"maQwabe Omuhle..." see now I'm smiling "mtungwa" he chuckles "you truly know the way to a Zulu man's heart is through his clan names" I laugh, "I just wanted to say thank you so much for the cake and the doll house for Wami", "oh don't mention it, anything for my 2 favourite girls, don't tell Andiswa I said that" I laugh, that's one of the reasons why I love his company, he's not too uptight, we laugh and joke a lot which I truly enjoy.

We talk for an hour until princess over here wakes up again for a nappy change and the usual feeding routine.
I finally get to call it a night which this rascal finally retiring to sleep...
