"It doesn't often snow at Christmas like it used to do," I sang as I did the washing up

"Awww you sing so cutely" Sam smiled as he was drying the dishes for me giving my cheek a little kiss "sad song though sweetheart. there are so many lovely happy Christmas songs you could sing"

"But it's true. it hardly ever snows anymore let alone at Christmas time, the idea of a white Christmas is far behind us. I feel bad for the kids listening to music like white Christmas poor kids likely won't see a white Christmas given global warming, and other horrible things" I sighed

"you are so pessimistic sweetheart" he smiled

"Sorry sam, I just miss snow"

"when your done get your shoes, I know somewhere that'll make you feel better" he smiled giving my cheek a little kiss

"Alright" I smiled I finished up the washing up putting on my little jacket and my shoes on he too slipped on his jacket and grabbed my fluffy scarf wrapping it around my neck then my little hat putting it onto my head but too far so I was blind

"oops. there we go" He smiled pushing it up a little so I could see "Better?"

"Thank you sam"

"Come along then sweetheart" He smiled kissing my nose and taking my hand, we walked out locking up our little house and heading out onto the cold London streets, he lead me along the streets through underground stations and little roads and paths we know from living here so long until we arrived at Covent garden we stood looking at the sweet tall Christmas tree in Covent garden he kept checking his watch for some reason which I didn't really understand why until he squeezed my hand and pushed my chin gently to look up, I saw on the top of the buildings was these little machines blowing out oodles and oodles of fake snow onto the tree, ground and of course us

"Is this safe?" I asked

"yeah perfectly safe, and environmentally friendly" he smiled kissing my nose

"Awww, thank you for bring me here sam" I giggled hugging him closely as we cuddled up and watched the snow
