It was a warm morning in the city of Paradise, Nevada. Where the sun rise was just about to creep over the mountains to expose itself. The birds sang happy tunes just like they do everyday. Today was just peaceful, if only I didn't have to attend a new school this very morning.

Thinking about school just makes me sick to say the least. I'm not very social, and I usually doze off every now and then in each class. I have a few friends here and there, but I only would hang out with one. Her name is Bethany and she is the only one who knows what my gender is.

Awhile ago, I decided to cut my hair, wear men attire and embrace my inner tomboy personality. No, I'm not transgender. There is a difference with someone who is tomboy and someone who is transgender.

When Bethany and I met for the first time back in Middle School, she looked at me straight in the eye and said "You're a girl, aren't you." After that we've just clicked. Everybody at school or around town thinks I'm the most cutest boy around. People suddenly assume I am a male, which isn't a big problem to me. I rather be a male anyway, strange enough for me to say.

Another thing that makes me masculine is my breast size. While growing up, I was the unlucky one in my family. Unfortunately, my chest has been, and always will be flat as a freeway. My extended family would question my parents if they really had a daughter or not. In all honesty, I think being flat chested doesn't really matter; who cares about boob sizes anyways? In my opinion, what really matters is the personality of a person; not their appearance.

"Are you kids excited to start at a brand new school?" The voice of my mother chirped happily, as she kept her eyes on the road.

"Hell yeah, I am. More hot chicks to check out." My obnoxious older brother, Noah said, as he let out a chuckle.

"What about you Sam? Excited yet?" Noah asked, as he turned around in his seat to look at me from the back.

I just struggled, as I opened my mouth to speak.

"It's just school. There's nothing to be excited about." I responded, as I peeled myself away from the window.

"Sam, school is where memories are held. You should be excited about that, at least." Mom stated, as she turned down a bumpy road.

Again, I shrugged, as I repositioned my view towards the mountains in the distance.

"Everybody thinks she's my brother, mom. Maybe that's why she isn't excited." Noah added, as he patted my head, messing up my perfectly combed hair.

"Don't be ridiculous. I could care less who thinks I'm a boy or not. It doesn't really matter," I groaned lightly, slapping his hand away. "Besides, the males life style isn't so half bad to pretend." I finished, as I planted a cocky smile on my face.
