(^^ Rachel in photo above ^^) - I DO NOT OWN PHOTO.

(UPDATE: EDITED)

Not only is Rachel in two of my classes, she's in five out of six classes I have. The only period where I am free from her is 4th; forensics. Although this fascinating woman has mentally made me crazy all day, I can't help but look at her when she's not looking back. Something about Rachel Nickels has made my insides melt, and I have no idea how.

as I sat in my last class; Astronomy, the bell rang loudly, signaling that the school day was officially over with. I began to pack up my belongings, as I stuffed them inside my bag. Just as I was about to stand up, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned my head slowly to see who it was.

It was no one other than Rachel Nickels.

"I figured I start a conversation with you, since we have a ton of classes together," Rachel spoke softly, as she stuck out her hand, with a smile planted across her face. "I'm Rachel." She introduced.

I took her hand, as I gave her a firm handshake. "Sam. Sam Bennett." I replied, as I flashed a kind smile back.

The both of us exited the classroom, as we walked down the hallway and out the main entrance doors. I took a sign of relief, as I leaned up against the building, looking down at Rachel, who was only a inch or two shorter than me.

"I'm so glad today's over." I cheered, as I fist bumped the air.

Rachel giggled lightly, as she nodded her head in agreement. "I'm glad it's over too. How was your first day here at Paradise High?" She asked, as she flashed me a cheeky smile.

"It was good," I responded, as I nodded my head lightly. "Better than I expected." I admitted.

The smile on Rachel's face grew bigger with joy at the sound of my response. Her smile was so contagious, I couldn't help but smile back. Her smile was so beautiful, it made my heart beat faster. What is up with this girl? Does she realize whatever she does, makes me feel all tingly and happy inside? I just met her for crying out loud.

My mouth hung open, wanting to say something. Unfortunately, it was cut short, as a loud horn erupted throughout the air and into my eardrums. Both, Rachel and I looked over, only to see a black F150 in the student pick up lot, with two male figures inside the truck. One, behind the wheel and the other, had its body half out the window. As my eyes adjusted, I knew exactly who it was.

"Sam! Are you serious? Tell your girlfriend goodbye and lets go!" Noah shouted loudly, as my father began to laugh hysterically in his seat.

A blush appeared on both of our faces, as we quickly switched our eyesight to the ground. I stood up, as I looked over at Rachel, still blushing madly.

"S-Sorry about that... My brother's irritating..." I grumbled, as I watched her eyes move from the ground to mine.

Her beautiful blue eyes sparkled, once she caught sight of my green orbs.

"It's alright," Rachel muttered, as the blush on her face slowly disappeared. "Have a good weekend! I'll see you Monday!" She giggled lightly.

"You too." Was all I could say, as I pointed my gaze to the dirty pavement, and began to walk towards the truck.

As I approached, I placed my hand on the handle, as I pulled it open. Hopping inside, I shut it began, as dad pulled out of the lot and down the street we went. Once we were away from the building, I relaxed into my seat.

"And a hello to you too." I mumbled loud enough for them to hear.

"How was your first day of school? Did everybody assume you were Noah's little brother again?" My father asked, as he looked at me occasionally from the rear view mirror.
