The school bell rang loudly, signaling that school was over for the day. Typical of me, I couldn't pick my head off the desk. I don't know why I'm super tired, but a nap sounds really good at the moment. Finally picking my head up from my desk, I grabbed my backpack, as I got up and walked out of my class, ignoring everyone around me.

My head pounded with each small voice that entered into my ears, as I held my head with my right hand. Everybody just needs to shut up, get out of my way and move on. Once I made it out of the building, I searched for my dad, but unfortunately, he wasn't here yet.

That's strange. Normally he would already be here waiting for Noah and I. I searched up and down the streets, looking for his truck, but to no avail. Speaking of Noah, where is he? He's normally out here waiting too.

On cue, my phone buzzed, as I pulled it out of my pocket. A text message from Noah popped on the screen.

Noah: Hey. When I got in the car, Dad just drove off. He told me to tell you to walk home. Do you know where home is? :/

My blood began to boil, as I began to text him back.

Sam: Oh, how adult-like of him to abandon his DAUGHTER behind. No, I don't know where home is, but I'll figure it out. If I get attacked by bears on the way home, you can have the shit in my room, but that's ONLY if I don't make it home.

I groaned loudly, as I began to walk. Where am I going? Wherever the wind takes me, I suppose.

"Are you alright?"I heard a voice ask, as I stopped walking, and turned around.

It was Rachel. She smiled at me, as she opened her arms out for a hug. I couldn't help but smile, as I hugged her back. Our hug was quite long.

"I'm alright." I sighed. "I'm just lost."

"You're lost?" Rachel asked.

I nodded, as I released our hug, looking deep into her green orbs. "My father left without me, and I'm not sure how to get home." I blushed, as embarrassment took over.

Rachel giggled, as she smiled at me. "Why don't you come over?" She asked, as she swung her arms back and forth, like a little child would.

I thought about it for a moment. I mean- why not?

"I mean, If you want me to come over." I replied, as I scratched the back of my neck nervously.

Without a response, Rachel smiled bigger, as she leaned in to kiss me. I kissed her back, as I wrapped my arms around her waist. Moments later, we released our kiss, as we heard faint Aww's in the background. Looking over, it was Hayden, and Rachel's two friends Kelly and Victoria a little ways behind us. Rachel and I blushed, as we backed away from each other.

"Lets go!" Rachel spoke softly, as she took my hand.

Nodding, I flashed a small smile, as I let Rachel pull me to the direction of her house. The walk to her house was completely silent, as we swung our hands back and forth. Once we turned down a street called 'Romeo', she sighed, as she looked up at me.

"My parents are home, along with my older brother." Rachel pointed out. "I hope you don't mind."

I shook my head, as I kissed her check. "I don't mind.  I have to meet them eventually, right?" I spoke with confidence.

Rachel smiled, as she nodded. "I agree! You'll love them. My brother is a little protective, but he's sweet." She warned me, as she turned to a white two story home.
