"Busy ka?" Tanong niya saakin.
"Hindi?" I wasn't totally free pero matatapos na din naman akong kumain kaya hinayaan ko nalang.
"Come with me." Aya niya at agarang tumalikod.
"Saan?" I asked bago ako humakbang palapit sakaniya.
"Basta."
"Wait lang. Kunin ko lang yung bag ko." Paalam ko. Tumango naman siya as a sign na pumunta na ako sa lamesa na kinakainan namin kanina.
"Oh? Saan ka pupunta?" Tanong saakin ni Aidan nang makita nilang kinuha ko na yung bag ko, leaving my left-over food on the table.
"Hindi ko alam." I answered honestly.
"Kasama ni Noah?" Grey asked.
"Oo." Mabilis kong sagot. The two guys sounded like they didn't trust Noah at all.
"Sama ako, Lia." Mabilis na tumayo din si Trixy.
Hindi ko alam kung gusto ni Noah na kaming dalawa lang ang magkasama pero hindi na ako naka-hindi kasi nauna nang maglakad si Trixy palapit kay Noah. Sinundan ko nalang sila leaving our other friends a glance bilang paalam.
"Hi! Sama ako. Pwede?" Bungad ni Trixy nang makita niya si Noah sa may entrance ng cafeteria.
"Sure?" Alangang sagot ni Noah.
"Saan tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko ulit.
"My brother is here." Sabi niya at nagumpisa nang maglakad palabas ng school.
Me and Trixy followed behind him. I watched the way he walked. He stood tall at parang confident siya. I mean, how could he not be.
"Brother mo?" Tanong ni Trixy.
"Yes." Maikling sagot niya.
"Bakit kailangan kasama ako?" Sabat ko.
"To introduce you to him." He said in his 'isn't it obvious' tone.
"Huy meet the family basis na pala kayo ha." Bulong saakin ni Trixy na may kasama pang pagsiko sa tagiliran ko.
I shrugged and quietly followed behind him while holding onto Trixy's arm.
"Kio." Noah broke the silence.
"Noah! Oh is this your girlfriend?" He pointed to Trixy. "Hi! I'm Kio. Big brother ni Noah." He held out his hand for Trixy to shake.
I stood there quietly wondering if I should say something, but before Noah and I could say anything Trixy accepted his hand shake.
"Trixy. Hindi ko boyfriend si Noah, friend ko lang si Lia, his actual girlfriend. I'm totally single." She smiled.
"I should've known. I mean how could Noah pull someone like you?" He smiled back.
"Can you please not flirt with her?" Singit ni Noah.
"Why not? She said she's single." Kio pointed out.
"And you're not. Plus, you're here to meet my girlfriend, not find yourself one." I couldn't figure out if the two of them had some tension between them or if that's their way of communicating.
"Kill joy ka." Kio said then walked towards me. "Kio, Noah's brother." He held his hand out to me too.
I slowly reached out my hand to his.
"Lia." Maikling pakilala ko.
He then turned around and pulled Noah slightly away to talk.
"Hoy sayang yon. Perfect na sana yon, girl. Look oh, brothers. Tapos tayo, best friends. May jowa naman kasi. We could've been sisters." Pagiinarte ni Trixy.
