Noah's POV
"Well, I guess I'm sorry for you being stupid and you running into me, Xelene." I overheard my classmate, Lia, say to my other classmate, Xelene.
Pareho silang nasa harap ng pintuan papasok sa classroom namin.
I was having a bad morning and I didn't want to wait for them to stop arguing kaya sumabat na ako agad.
"If you two are going to start a fight, please don't do it in the middle of my way." I said.
"Hey Noah!" Bati saakin ni Xelene.
I wasn't really in the mood to talk so I just listened to what she had to say. Since we are somewhat close, she comes to me for certain things and I let her.
I let the morning pass yet my mood didn't completely change kahit noong after lunch na.
I was standing in front of our classroom talking to some of my female friends dahil ang mga iba kong kaibigan ay nagl-lunch pa. We were all just casually talking like friends do when I noticed my classmate from the door earlier standing about a foot away from us, just staring with a weirdly serious expression on her face.
"May kailangan ka?" I asked.
"If you guys are going to flirt with each other, please don't do it in front of me." She smiled then turned around and walked inside the classroom
Wtf?
It was so random but I felt kind of bad dahil baka naoffend siya sa sinabi ko kaninang umaga since it stuck with her to the point that she came to me to say that.
I smiled to myself thinking how weird and interesting she suddenly seemed. Kaya nga kina-hapunan, once I got home, I went on social media and started following her.
Only a few minutes later, after I took my evening shower, nakita ko na nag-follow back siya sakin.
I once again smiled to myself and messaged her.
I tried to joke with her and make her think I thought that she liked me. It was one of my corny ways to get a girls attention. But it turns out that I pissed her off again dahil hindi na niya ako nireply-an after a few messages.
But what a great coincidence that the next day, naka-sabay ko siya paakyat sa hagdan papunta sa classroom namin.
"Hey!" I spoke to get her attention as I walked to stand in front of her.
"Ay sheteng kambing!" She exclaimed which made me smile again.
"Morning." I greeted her.
"Morning." She said back and quickly faced away and started to try and pass me.
"In a hurry? Ang aga pa oh. May 20 minutes pa bago mag-start 'yung klase natin." I pointed out.
"Yeah, and I don't care." Pagtataray niya. "May kailangan ka ba?" Nakanunot na noong tumingin siya siya saakin.
"Ako, wala. Baka ikaw meron?" I smiled.
"Meron nga. Kailangan kong dumaan. Thank you." Madaling sabi niya and then walked away pero nakahabol ako sakaniya.
"'Wag ka nang mahiya saakin. Alam ko naman na." Sinakyan ko ang joke ko kagabi.
I immediately regretted that though, as I remembered how she reacted last night. But it was too late to take my words back so I just smirked at her and winked.
"What are you talking about Noah?" Naiinis na siya and I could hear it in her tone. "Think what you want to think. Wala akong oras para makipag-laro sayo." She said before slightly pushing me away para makadaan na siya.
