“That looks familiar...”

Zen blurted out as he tries to remember about the eyes on the paper.

“I think I know what you’re trying to say, babe. Isn’t that the tattoo Ezekiel has?” bulalas naman ni Betina na agad sinang-ayunan ni Zen.

“Yeah! That’s right! That’s what I saw before!”

“So Ezekiel is really part of that cult? How come?” pagtataka ni Hailey.

Sumubo ako ng pagkain habang iniisip ang sinabi nilang tattoo. Sa pagkakaalala ko, mayro'n ngang tattoo sa braso si Haru pero hindi ko kasi matandaan kung mata ba 'yun o ano.

Ngumiti si Seven at tinago muli ang papel sa loob ng kan'yang jacket, “Before we continue talking about this, I’d like to share with you again my life but this time-- in personal.”

Lahat ay tumingin kay Seven at hinintay ang sasabihin niya.

“As you know, my agency are still after me and while at that I’m still working to a different client to have some money. I’m also buried on researching about Ezekiel’s life, place and all because I really need to talk to him and get him. My father is insane. Even if Ezekiel is far from this city, there’s still a possibility that our father will chase us. Especially my agency has a connection to the world of politics.”

“You’re all aware of my twin brother--- Ezekiel. He was the one who kidnapped Betina and was also the one who used Stella to come at us.”

“My brother and I had to part ways due to family issues when we were young. To summerize the facts, my parents were not people who could actually be parents to us. So, Light... he gave me the opportunity to start working for an intelligence agency and be independent when I was in high school. The agency did not allow me to stay with family so I was forced to part ways with Ezekiel.”

Nakikinig lang kami sa kan'ya habang kumakain. Lahat ay nasa kan'ya ang atensyon.

“Light promised me he will take good care of my brother and honestly, he was my savior back then for doing that. I really thought he was an angel from heaven. Then I decided that I owed Light the rest of my life and that I would follow him always without a single shred of doubt.”

“So that is why you were always saying you’re a slave of Light? I always thought it was a joke,” Konan says.

“That is how much I trusted Light. Pero dahil sa insidenteng nangyari no’ng... tangkain ni Ezekiel kunin si Stella sa apartment, doon ko na nalaman lahat-lahat ng katotohanan. That he was the one who kidnapped Betina and almost put her life in danger, that he was the one who’s trying to attack me and change my systems--- and he was the one who used Stella to break me.”

”How did he used her? Aside from persuading her to get to the apartment, what kind of use did he do?” curious na tanong naman ni Betina.

Napalunok ako. Kinakabahan ako na baka malaman nila na isa akong kriminal. Paano ba kami nagkaro'n ng kasunduan ni Haru? Hindi ba dahil parehas kaming pumapatay?

Naramdaman kong hinawakan ni Seven ang kamay ko sa ilalim ng mesa.

“Before we know about that, let me continue what I’m saying about Light. I told you guys about my suspicion about him. He was avoiding my questions. Whatever the reason or excuse, I don’t think anyone can deny he was a irresponsible of my brother. So your decision about Light will be each of your own so it’s up to you if you’ll trust him after what he did to me.”
