My eyes slowly fluttered open and I looked over to Shawn beside me. He was already awake.
His arms were wrapped loosely around my waist, his legs sprawled out across the bed.

"Good morning, baby girl." He said with his raspy morning voice.

"Good morning, baby boy." I turned to face him, wrapping my arms around his torso and burying my face into his bare chest, as he smiled at the nickname.

"Wanna do something today?" He asked me, kissing my forehead.

I looked up into his eyes as he gave me a small smile.

"Sure. Like what?"

He furrowed his eyebrows and bit his lip, thinking.

"Well," he spoke, "I didn't have anything planned, so how about movies, food, and cuddles?" He asked sweetly, jutting his bottom lip out.

"So a lazy day with my boyfriend? How could I say no?" I teased, kissing the tip of his nose.

"Good, come on." He got up and we both headed to the bathroom and got changed and ready.

"To the bed!" Shawn yelled, picking me up as I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck.

He gently placed me down on the bed, crawling in next to me.
He turned on the television and put on a movie.

"Wait here Emmalee." He said, before getting up and heading to the kitchen.

He returned with cupcakes, cookies and candy.

"What is all this? Dessert for breakfast?" I giggled.

His eyes widened.
"Emmalee! You should be saying 'Yay dessert for breakfast!' " He said to me, playfully rolling his eyes.

I smiled and shook my head, rolling my eyes back at him.

Shawn set down all the food on the edge of the bed and crawled back in, pulling me closer to him by my waist.

He wrapped his arms around my hips and rested his head on my shoulder, burying his face into the crook of my neck.

I kissed the top of his head and rubbed his back, laying my head against his.

"I love you princess, so much." He smiled cutely at me.

I cupped his face in my hands, pulling him towards me and placing my lips gently on his. Our lips moved at a slow, gentle pace.

I pulled away and rested my forehead against his, smiling.

"I love you too, Shawny boy."
