Stressed Out

A/N: Sorry I haven't been updating as often as I'd like and I haven't liked the material I've been giving you guys. I've just been really busy and also working on my new book. "Hey" Shawn said softly as he opened my bedroom door.

I looked up and gave him a small smile and went back to my school work.

"Is everything okay?" He asked, rubbing my thigh lightly.

"Yeah, I'm just a little stressed out with all my work." I told him truthfully.

"I figured that. You've been in here all day for the past week." He replied, raising an eyebrow.

"I know. I'm sorry."

I felt so guilty. I always turned Shawn down whenever he wanted to hang out with me because of school.

"I think you need a break." He said, picking me up.

"Put me down!" I yelled, giggling.

"Never! Let's go!" Shawn said while running to his car.

He put me in and we started driving.

He stopped when we got to an empty field.

Shawn got out of the car and opened my door, helping me out.

"Come with me." He said, taking my hand in his.

"Where are we?" I asked him, observing the area.

"This is where I like to come to think when I'm stressed out with my music. Sometimes I come here to write songs too."

We sat down on the ground and I cuddled up next to Shawn.

"You know, I like to watch the sunset here too. It's really beautiful. Thats why I wanted to take you here too."

"Wow." Is all I could say.

We watched the sun set. I sat there admiring it. This has always been something I've wanted to do with Shawn.

When it was over, I turned to Shawn.

"Thanks for taking me here, muffin. It really relaxed me. We should do this more often." I said with a smile.

"We should, shouldn't we?" He said while moving me on to his lap.

I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck, snuggling my face into the crook of his neck.

"I love you, (y/n). I think you need to take a break from everything once in a while."

"I love you more Shawn. And yeah, I think I'll start taking more breaks from now on."

"Good." He said kissing my forehead. "You deserve it."
