Amusement Park

"Wake up!" Shawn yelled as the weight of the bed shifted.

"No." I groaned, turning over and stuffing my face into my pillow.

"Please baby? I want to do something fun today."

"How about sleeping?" I mumbled.

"How about we go to an amusement park? Please?" He begged, jutting out his quivering bottom lip and batting his eyes.

"You're cute, so fine, let's go." I agreed, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Yes!" He yelled, running into the bathroom to get ready.

I shook my head,smiling to myself at how adorable he was.

I got dressed and brushed out my hair, applying some light makeup.

"You look really pretty, Jess." Shawn gushed, coming up behind me and placing his arms on my shoulders.

"Thanks." I blushed.

"Let's go!"

We got in the car and started driving, admiring the scenery along the way.

We finally arrived to the amusement park, the sounds of blaring music and screaming people filled the air.

"Can we play some games first?" Shawn asked me excitedly, holding onto my hand.

"Of course." I laughed.

He took me too a nearby game stand. The object was to throw the dart in the center of the board to win a prize.

"3 darts please?" Shawn asked the game runner.

He aimed and threw the first dart. It landed in the center, as the music and lights went off.

"Yes!" Shawn screamed, hugging me.

I couldn't help but smile and hug back at his energy.

"What prize do you want, princess?" He sweetly asked me.

"The big teddy bear, please?"

The guy handed Shawn his prize and he handed it to me, planting a small kiss on my cheek.

My cheek immediately turned a bright shade of pink and he laced our fingers together again.

"Can we get ice cream? I'm a little hungry." I asked.

"Sure." He replied, flashing a smile at me.

We got one ice cream sundae to share, and sat down at a nearby table.

"Thanks for coming with me, Jess."
Shawn said, taking a spoonful of ice cream.

"No problem." I smiled.

"Are you having a good time, doll?"

I nodded my head, eating another scoop of ice cream.

"Alright, can we please go on a roller coaster?" Shawn asked, after we finished eating.

"Uh" I hesitated, taking in a deep breath.

"Please, please, please!" He begged me.

"Shawn, you know I'm scared." I replied quietly.

"I'll hold your hand the whole time. I wont let you go. I promise. Please trust me?" He persuaded me, giving me the same puppy dog face.

"Fine."

Shawn laced our fingers together as we walked to the nearest roller coaster. Shawn squeezed my hand for reassurance as we got on. The rest of the night was filled with talking, laughing, and many adventures. It was truly a night to remember.
