The room fell silent as I looked up at Shawn.

He looked back down at me, sitting between his legs, my back against his chest.

Shawn smiled, kissing my temple as I gently shut my eyes.

"I love you, Lily." He whispered, planting another small kiss behind my ear.

I felt my cheeks heat up, turning the familiar shade of pink whenever I was with Shawn.

Looking down at my lap, I saw his hand resting on my thigh, tracing light circles on my leggings.

I gently picked up his hand and I felt his other arm loosely snake around my waist, pulling me up a bit, closer to him.

I played with the tips of his fingers, laying back against his shoulder. Shawn rested his head on top of mine, as I continued to play with his hands.

"You're so cute, baby girl." He whispered, his soft voice filling the quietness of the room.

I blushed again as he kissed the top of my head, pulling me up again as I began sliding down his body a bit.

Shawn moved his head, snuggling it into the crook of my neck as I let out a soft giggle.

"Shawn, stop." I mumbled, biting my lip and smiling at the ticklish feeling.

He chuckled a bit, lightly kissing my neck.

"I love this." He whispered, staring straight ahead as I cuddled my body into his even more.

"Love what?" I questioned, turning my head and looking up at him.

Shawn looked down at me, his soft caramel colored eyes gazing back into mine as he smiled at me, squeezing my hand.

"Us. I love how we can just sit here doing absolutely nothing, and be so content with each other's presence." He grinned.

Smiling back at him, I felt myself blush again as I moved my hand up to his neck, gently pulling his head down to meet mine.

I pressed my lips against his, turning around and straddling him, not breaking the kiss.

I felt Shawn smile as he kissed me back harder, his hands moving down to my waist, pressing his fingers into my skin.

Pulling away, I rested my forehead against his, pecking his lips once more.

"Me too."
