Into the Pokeverse

Chapter 3.

Garchomp stared Toxicroak down with a death glare, bearing his large teeth and growling. Ohhhhohoho, this is about to get GOOD.

Saturn frowned and looked my way.

"Even if your Pokémon evolved, he's still no match for us..."

"Ohhh you wanna bet?! Alright Garchomp, let's keep up the fight!"

"Gar!"

Toxicroak returned the death glare as his trainer readied to give a command.

"Toxicroak, poison sting." Saturn ordered.

The toad croaked and shot poisonous needles in Garchomps direction.

"Garchomp, dodge it!"

The land shark swiftly avoided the poison sting.

"Now get in close and use Brick Break!" I shouted.

Garchomp sped towards Toxicroak at a much faster speed than ever before, his claw glowing bright white.

"Toxicroak, counter that with your Brick Break!" Saturn said.

Both Toxicroak and Garchomps moves collided. They were growling at each other and trying to push the other back, alas it seemed that they were in a sort of power struggle. But looking at Garchomp, I could see the fire in his eyes.

"Garchomp! You can do this, I believe in you!" I shouted.

With that, he roared loudly and opened his mouth while looking at the sky, shooting a fireball upwards. Wait, what move is this? Watching the fireball closely, it would suddenly break apart and turn into multiple meteors that hurdled down toward Team Galactic. That was Draco Meteor!! He learned a brand new move after evolving!!!

The grunts began retreating as Draco Meteor struck the ground around them, making them fall down in a hilarious way. Even Saturn was doing his best to avoid the falling fireballs. Garchomp pushed Toxicroak back, just in time for it to get hit in the head with one of the meteors. The toad yelped and collapsed with another sound, its eyes in a spiral shape. Holy shit, Garchomp is WAY stronger than I thought!

"Toxicroak..!" Saturn said as one of the last meteors landed beside him and the force caused him to fall.

I giggled as the Galactic "commander" tried to get to his feet. I approached him with the newly evolved Garchomp at my side, my arms crossed as I knelt down to look him in the eye.

"If we EVER see you again, we WON'T be so gentle as we were today...do you understand me?" I snarled.

The dark blue haired man only stared at me before he began to chuckle.

"We will meet again, you can count on it..."

The Galactic Commander suddenly pulled something out of his pocket, setting off a wicked smokescreen. Garchomp and I coughed hard, both of us unable to see or breathe at all. Fortunately it only lasted a few seconds. But looking around after the smoke cleared, none of the grunts, Saturn, or even his Toxicroak were seen. They fled like rats off the Titanic.

"Those fucking cowards..." I looked toward Garchomp, "You okay, big guy?"

Garchomp nodded his head with a huff.

"Also, were you just REALLY close to to evolving? Is that why you challenged the Alpha?"

He nodded again, but this time with a mischievous grin on his face. I giggled and playfully punched him in the arm, the land shark only smiled and returned the favor by punching me back with a punch in the arm. With that I laughed and gave Garchomp a hug, not caring about his rough skin. Like before he seemed caught off guard, but I didn't care.
