"LiuMeng." Gu Hai exhaled. The things I do for you baby.

"LiuMeng? Ah...Caption Chong and the pretty princess?"

"Those are the ones."

"Not sure how I feel about it, little brother."

"Do you think I am thrilled to have the princess running around Yin Zi and me? But he is Bai Luo Yin's best friend. Nothing we can do about it."

Bai Luo Yin and Ling Yun exchanged looks. When the Gu brothers are on the same page, they are vicious. When they are joining forces, they are unbeatable. Even if all of the world champions would gather together in an attempt to take them down. They would end up bowing to their feet and kissing the ground.

"Stop making fun of Yang Meng!" Bai Luo Yin bellowed. The topic just came up a minute ago and those Gu brothers are already...ruthless. "He is a really nice guy. You two are always so busy ridiculing him which prevents you from seeing his good character."

"His good character is all dripping pink." The Gu brothers scoffed together. He narrowed his eyes, his withering stare scorched the screen, and he could swear those two bastards rehearsed it beforehand.

He opened his mouth to bellow some more, but his Colonel beat him to it.

"If you two are going to act like this," Ling Yun said. "I don't think it would be wise for Yang Meng to come."

He glimpsed at Bai Luo Yin. Did he manage to damage control the situation? Bai Luo Yin glared at the screen, livid. It seemed that if he will keep on glaring, fumes will eject from his body and will cauterize the Gu brothers, giving them a taste of their acrid medicine. And Ling Yun sighed. No, he didn't manage to damage control.

Bai Luo Yin nipped Gu Hai's waist and turned his glare to him. Why? why is Gu Hai participating in this mockery and cooperating with this uncivil brother of his? Why would Yang meng miss this trip because of those two idiots? His exasperated lips didn't move, yet, they yelled at the man sitting to their left. Da Hai, this time, you took it too far.

"You two are horrible people." He filtered.

Gu Yang's heart gasped, and his throat tightened on the mixed feelings threatening to disgorge out and expose themselves. Oh, sweet little Bai, what a mistake you have made, choosing to insult me like that. Maybe if he didn't have a special place in his heart for the lovable Yin. Or maybe if Bai Luo Yin would have treated him a bit nicer, he could have let that go, and not let those damn words puncture his heart. But he couldn't, and he didn't. His stare nailed Bai Luo Yin to the wall and he snapped.

"Oh, relax you two. It's not like we are going to insult him right to his face. We know how to be respectful. Besides, Bai Lo, you are the one who is sleeping with, married to, and willing to die for a horrible person. Also known as my little brother. Not me. So don't come at me with that righteousness of yours. Come up with something better or don't say a thing at all."

The friendly call tensed up. The bitter taste of awkwardness wandered in the air, making all four participants of the video call uncomfortable. It happened sometimes, Bai Luo Yin and Gu Yang would exchange some words and make everyone feel so uneasy and bothered until the existence of oxygen itself suffocated them.

Thats what happens when the older brother Gu is deeply in love with someone, yet had to suppress it every time he talked to him. He had to look him in the eye, knowing he will never, ever have a chance with him. For the simple reason of, that boy, that sexy brother-in-law, already committed and fully immersed himself between the warm powerful arms of pure love and desire.
