The next morning, after last night's erotic events, the two were in exceptionally high spirits. An ambiance of a balmy, sweet ending floated in the air and traveled out the open windows as they drove together to work.
Since early in the day before, Bai Luo Yin sought for the right time to bring up a certain question. Since the moment Yang Meng asked him for that favor, he hesitated. Even now, after making the decision, a big old doubt rested in his heart, weakening his once brimming confidence.

"Yesterday Yang Meng asked me for a job in the company. He is moving to live in our neighborhood next week. He wants to stay close to people that he knows. He asked to work beside me as my personal executive assistant. I knew you won't like it, so, I made a deal with him. I am giving him a three-month trial at the job. If he will meet the job criteria by the trial period's end, I will hire him. If not, I will help him find another job."
"And?" Gu Hai casually asked.
"And? Aren't you going to give me a hard time telling me that he is not qualified and that I am too blind to see it because he is my friend? I know you don't like him. Then, aren't you going to criticize my poor judgment?"
Gu Hai gave him a bemused look before turning the wheel right at the teeming intersection. "Why would I do that?"
"Because this is your hard-won company, that you built with your ten fingers from scratch."
Every time Bai Luo Yin carelessly and absentmindedly uttered this sort of words, Gu Hai became extremely upset.
"Babe, it's not my company, it's our company." he would always correct him.
Only for Bai Luo Yin to counter him with: "But you built it! I am only jumping into this twelve years later after the company is already well established and successful. I don't want to be one of those people who take credit for the hard work of others. I hate those people."
And so the argument would prolong for a few more minutes until the chairman finally silenced the CEO with:
